    The performance seems impressive, but given the price of this product, I would hope so. If the substrate is a plaster wall with 4-6 coats of oil-based primer (done years ago), what can one expect? Is the Ardex P4 really necessary when the performance is this good? My plaster wall does not have wood involved. It has a brown-coat base lath, attached to a very strong wire mesh. The building was constructed in 1958, and the walls are rock solid. Any thoughts? Thank you.

      It’s awesome for that!! I personally would still put supports up till the mortar drys but it hangs them quite nice.

    Our bag does not have high and low ratios. This is not working for travertine for us.

      Hi Dennis, the website and the bag say to mix 8 1/4 - 8 3/4 quarts of water per bag. Perhaps the bag you purchased does not? Which seems odd. This product can be used for some natural stone but ideally our N23 mortar would be better for travertine.
