Would you recommend this for a mosaic tile backsplash? The tiles are small, but I like the idea of the mats not sliding and the log open time. I recently used the highest end laticrete mortar and it was like silicone caulk.
Yes, Ardex X77 can be used to install mosaic tiles in a kitchen backsplash but you could also consider using a pre-mixed tile adhesive such as Ardex D14 www.ardexamericas.com/product/ardex-d-14/
That was a gypsum board that I treated with Ardex S1-K liquid applied waterproofing and crack-isolation membrane. That just made it a better substrate to receive tile.
@@TileProUSA Yes for sure I can find online. But do you mind if you make list what tools you are using. Tools that you are recommend for installers. That will be very helpful.

Pretty impressive. Just curious, what was the reason for the green coating? Didn’t look like a wet area. Thanks.

I saw a video where they put like an 80 lb slab of concrete on the wall with x77 and it didn't sag 🤯
👍👍👍
Where do you buy your notch trowels ?
Mostly at the local tile supplies stores but you can find all of them online too.
