I couldn't help but chuckle. I'm not Baptist but I can't see the sin of it. Seems logical that they would need to find a scripture that in some way shows the sinfulness of playing a song in a different style and rhythm than it was originally written. If you didn't want to offend though, you could always learn it and enjoy playing it in the privacy of your home. 😊

I think most would like it if you played it as a special. I wouldn't want to try sing that song to it. The original music version sounds like the word, 😅❤

@@AnnaBrown-h4e Yeah that's true. It would be hard to sing like that as a congregation. Also, the way I actually play it fits more with the lyrics.

I have a high regard for Baldwin pianos. Generally great pianos. This was certainly a fun Listen! Loved it
