Awe Terry, my mum was a pianist. I always sat next to the piano, from a young kiddo & up, in utter bliss. Mum played this song. She had incredibly long fingers, spanning across the keys. My mind lingers on times our family holidays etc were spent around the piano, singing, smiling, dancing. Or when she pulled out & played the huge ivory accordian. Or gran, grampa on the organ. Stari Night my mother always sang in the kitchen and this is one of her favorites and mine also. You mentioned the big accordion pianos. I was raised in a pentecostal church and we had 2 ladies that walked around playing those massive pianos strapped around their arms. I loved to watch them and listen to them play. I remember calling them the WAA WAA things as a child cause i didnt know the correct words for them lol thank you for jarring that memory. I havent seen one in decades being played. 🎹🙏😀. God bless.
Didn’t realize that I loved this boogie woogie but I started moving and I am a 76 year old lady!! Really did love it when I saw more hands on the piano that what normally belong. I have been listening to this today or rather tonight for a couple of hours now and I’m going to have to go to bed shortly. Everyone so busy with life that they they don't even hear the music. It only took one young lady to stop then others copied suit. Well done sir "Just A CLOSER WALK WITH THEE" WILL BE PLAYED AND SANG AT MY FUNERAL. Takes me back to when we were all a poor young family (10 siblings) On a Sunday evening my mum would sit and play the piano and we would all sing along. It was mainly hymns but we all enjoyed it. Great memories of a loving family.

I enjoyed this from the very beginning. I can tell by the way he’s playing it’s old school. And it’s a shame that most people walk by and not take notice of such works of art. I certainly can connect to the song and the style in which he played it. Keep playing Terry. It was great.

Awe Terry, my mum was a pianist. I always sat next to the piano, from a young kiddo & up, in utter bliss. Mum played this song. She had incredibly long fingers, spanning across the keys. My mind lingers on times our family holidays etc were spent around the piano, singing, smiling, dancing. Or when she pulled out & played the huge ivory accordian. Or gran, grampa on the organ. All were fine musicians 😘 Thank You for keeping piano music alive with your amazing skills Terry. 🎵🎹🎵 I forgot to mention, October 6th, her birthday.

Stari Night my mother always sang in the kitchen and this is one of her favorites and mine also. You mentioned the big accordion pianos. I was raised in a pentecostal church and we had 2 ladies that walked around playing those massive pianos strapped around their arms. I loved to watch them and listen to them play. I remember calling them the WAA WAA things as a child cause i didnt know the correct words for them lol thank you for jarring that memory. I havent seen one in decades being played. 🎹🙏😀. God bless.

Didn’t realize that I loved this boogie woogie but I started moving and I am a 76 year old lady!! Really did love it when I saw more hands on the piano that what normally belong. I have been listening to this today or rather tonight for a couple of hours now and I’m going to have to go to bed shortly. Takes me back to when we were all a poor young family (10 siblings) On a Sunday evening my mum would sit and play the piano and we would all sing along. It was mainly hymns but we all enjoyed it. Great memories of a loving family.
