They mocked him. The Target manager on duty called the cops on him because he was having trouble paying. Target wasn't helping him. That part of the story is a lie.
When I first started using those self check out machines, I ALWAYS had issues with them ; sometimes they don't tell you At All if thier explicitly just cash or credit 💳 card or how to weigh items . With All these difficulties, it's hard to understand Why target employees we're on scene before the cops or even Stop them to say " hey I was about to or had bin assisting this Customer who ( EVIDENTLY HAD HIS MONEY OUT FOR PURCHASING) . Like w.t flip man . Horrible just a horrible scene , heart breaking & they can tell he's challenged .
I saw this video a while ago, but it's good to see he was charged. What pitiful humans - not even considering his profession - how do you treat a mentally disabled person with such indifference? Just compassionless and callous. And we trust them to secure our communities? They can't be trusted to work the fryolator at McDs.
This is the second video I've seen report that a target employee did try helping the man but fail to say what happened after they attempted to help. How or why is it so difficult to report everything that occurred. This is a question I'm sure multiple people have wondered, ideas taking so long, why didn't an employee help him? Oh they did try? Well, what happened? Did he decline their help, did he snap at the employee, etc.? Smfh
The sickest part is hearing the attorneys for both sides. Prosecutor says they will PROVE… But defence attorney says they will establish enough reasonable doubt. Reasonable Doubt is a good thing but…. Not for a paid law enforcement officer. Then it should only require the preponderance of guilt. Your on duty being paid to enforce LAW! How can you do so without having a comprehension of law? It’s the biggest problem with law enforcement. A mere 16-24 weeks at a training academy? Where most of that education time is spent learning to drive like an ass, be an arrogant goof, shoot, cowardly pain compliance tactics. Doesn’t sound like it leave much time to learn any law?
Ridiculous to even think it was an attempted robbery when it’s clear as day the man needed help. That crook Skeens chose not to serve and protect but to terrorise a man less able than himself to feel like the corrupt bully he signed up to be. Does not deserve to wear the badge again. Disgusting
Yes it was very brutal but it's not anything we haven't come to expect from the American Police department it's never about the training either it's about the culture of policing and the silver badge of immunity and impunity on their chest and let them get away with most everything it's more of a shock seeing a cop held accountable for their crimes than anything else usually they're just allowed to resign and get a job in the next town over to do it all over again they're like bad priests they never lose their job they just get moved around from here to there
Thank you for covering this. I am glad the state is pressing charges. The cops and target violated that man's rights.
In other words, these punks were on a fishing expedition and had no business in Target to begin with.
Another garbage cop. What else is new?
I can't think.
Guilty send him to prison where he belongs

Didn't the news report say the Target didn't call, that the cops were just on patrol and decided to do this?
Very easy to prove all calls are reported. And target has a log of all out going calls.
I don't understand why the Target employees didn't assist the guy. How hard is it to walk up, often to help, and make the purchase for him?

@@vincebonilla4006 I avoid self check outs like the plague.

Andy Griffith would have helped him count and pay his money. :)
What crime was the disabled guy even suspected of committing in the first place???
Taking too long.
I have reasonable doubt about whoever hired this cop. Isn't it sad when we find out bad cops have a history of being bad cops.
QUESTION: how can I watch this full trial?
That’s Johnny mr. Smh…
Imagine waking at 3 am to cry out for attention on a youtube channel. Who does that Debbie? Besides you, of course. My God your life must be pitiful.
Former?
He was an officer at the time of the offense.
That devilish NeanDa logic
Self checkouts! Theres the start of your problem. If someone helped him there wouldnt have been an issue
You're fired bad guy

I don't have a problem with that, just lawyers being lawyers.
Don’t worry about it, People the acquittal is pending!
It's called a jury dude
I have a feeling you are right.

WHY THEY NEVER CHARGE A COP WHEN HE LIED ON A REPORT

There's no need to bring up bikes being stolen from Target when the man was literally at the f****** checkout stand with money. 🤦
Amen. I don't get why that is even being mentioned.
I'm not sure who is the bigger pile of crap. The cop or the lawyer trying to defend him. Both a waste of life if you ask me.
Definitely the cop. Lawyer is doing his job. That's normal.
Bike thieves don't stand around for twenty minutes counting their money.
Facts bro, it’s obvious he was just having trouble. Especially if he was standing there for 20 minutes….
🤬
not corrupt officers fault, government says you need no training, here's a badge......... who would say no to well paying job requiring no training
