Never wipe a coin, be it silver, gold, or any metal with a sand covered glove or hand. You'll leave scratches on its surface. A water spray is way better.
I have a user video covering settings and just that coming out soon, but for now I would recommend use the factory modes, and if you're not on a signal then dig it out until you get to know the tones. Good luck, feel free to fire away with the questions if you need any help
That’s a very good question. The Legend with its new update and coils is fantastic and still one of my favourite machines. The Legend is hugely capable and much cheaper than the 900, so in that respect the Legend wins, I placed the Legend over the 800, but the 900 is better than the 800. I have yet to compare them both directly, I’ve only been using the 900 since December so to be honest I wouldn’t like to say if it’s better just yet. I will do a comparison video and see how they turn out. My gut feeling is the 900 might have the edge, but it should as it’s more expensive. Keep an eye out for the comparison video soon.
@@HiddenHistoryHuntersDetecting thanks for the detailed reply. I have a legend and do like it and it's my first machine so my frame of reference is small. I'm curious to see what the extra cash gets so a good comparison video would be great in due course. I keep looking at the Deus2 as well but that just looks overly complicated to me but I guess I'd learn it quick enough if I actually had one.

What signal number in gold ring?
What sensitivity are you managing to run the 900 at mate?
Mostly around mid 20s, it seems much more stable than the Manticore.
