WHAT?! Lol why was he placed with the rest of the freaky marro/eldrazi looking things?! I legit thought he was supposed to be the leader/queen of whatever those are. But that's really cool that his little dragon has grown, people should love that if they know the original Sonlen.
Unlike most games this one can take just about anything you have and make it part of the Battle of All Time. It's not just a game it's a gaming medium. You should love the gameplay and look right out of the box, But the real hook is that if you love something it will become part of YOUR HEROSCAPE world. EVERYTHING is HEROSCAPE and HEROSCAPE is EVERYTHING.. I'm 50 and ever since I got this game way back in 2006 It has become the Golden standard of why I buy anything toy related.. Just before I started playing HeroScape I was getting into Warhammer and Warhammer 40K, AWSOME games I love miniatures, models, and strategy games, and this did all 3 in one game, but it was looking crazy expensive I made test armies out of cardboard but the game was just too expensive the forces I wanted would cost around $500.00 and that was just 1 army out of the many choices.Then someone showed me HeroScape OMG I could buy EVERYTHING IN this game in one box !!! for $40.00 the cost of just a rule book in Warhammer 40K.. And it was FASTER to play with no hidden rules or Stupid things like I nuked an area but this guy was behind a tree so he cant be hit etc.HeroScape is fast easy and FUN, OH and looks better than anything out there the land hextile system beautiful etc. But the true Game of HeroScape sneaks in when you need more and there isn't any you have it all , well you start looking at other toys and miniatures you already have sitting around in boxes gathering dust, ( my 1st custom was a T-Rex Toy that belonged to my 8 year old daughter ) and with a bit of work OMG NEW HEROSCAPE UNITS !! And it doesn't stop there Mecha from Robotech, Battletech , and Gundum In our HeroScape Customes even some of the too small minis are just small AI units. Pulled out a Fisher Price Castle mixed with some building blocks started Castle battles and D&D dungeon dives. Legos Oh boy The Cities you can build, Mega Blocks My world has ships and Pirates I own 2 Flying Dutchmen with paper deck layouts for HeroScape, Skaven, Space Marrines, HeroClix, other miniture games I have bought just to make custom forces AVP and Big trouble in Little China (Gotta have Jack Burton, Heroclicx of Tombstone and a pack of silver tipped sewing pins and I have a Phantasm Army lead by the Tall Guy had to get some Jawas for the Dwarfs, the little rubber penguins at the ranch supply store given army soldier guns. It never ends Even Magic cards can become forces in HeroScape and there have been crossovers of this as well. Here is YOUR chance to get everything you will need to have an Epic adventure that grows with you. Heck 1 year I even made our Christmas tree skirt out of snow tiles. Yeah, it certainly is like a game and a gaming medium all at once, considering we could have anything from superheroes to zombies to Pokemon in there if we (community/players) wanted to do customs, it's not hard. I'm not really a massive board gamer, especially in things like D&D, Warhammer, or other things where one can more... artistically express themselves... although small bits of lore/ nice aesthetic are always appreciated, I'm usually primarily picking up a game for mechanics, interesting player choice/agency, but also close to simplicity so that I can easily enjoy with my friends and family. I can't even tell how many factions there are, the presentation was a tad confusing... like the whole Jandar/Utgar dudes apparently working together thing, it certainly appears to be taking a turn away from what I thought the original Heroscape was about (ESPECIALLY in that Jandar would be fighting Utgar...)

So, the Iron Clad Collective are the Orange ones that look like they are from Doom! Not the bugs. Both factions that are Orange are from the Valkyrie Revna which is. Rand new to the game. I was unwholesomely & maliciously chosen to be discriminated against by an admin (legit one of the funniest power trips I had ever seen) on that discord when I identified as something that he didn't approve of (although my most prominent personality prefers pronouns Chosen/One, but I didn't know how to convey that via emotes) so I yeeted straight the fuck out of that server, but I do remember seeing a couple of the discord updates from that bald fellow, who audibly has some accent... is that Brooklyn? I'm an uncultured beast. Doom is a good way to explain the looks of those guys, I'm not a huge fan of the designs, though. It feels WAY TOO post-apocalypse to me and not quite "age 8+" Heroscape, like Drake and even Taelord who are far more tame. The voice in my head tells me that my wife will likely give me shit for having those kinds of figures in my house near my daughter (ffs) let alone what some of my friends might say with their kids... At some point I want to catch up on all of this stuff, but damn I have so many video editing projects and just everything else in personal life that it's just insane to try and squeeze all of it in. I would love to keep up on every tidbit for scape, but I can't even keep up with watching the other YT scapers' videos let alone do my own!
