Hmmm that's strange. Try this procedure: 1.Set the parking brake. 2.Turn the ignition switch to ON/RUN with the engine off. 3.Turn the exterior lamp switch from AUTO to OFF four times within three seconds. A double horn chirp will sound and the TPMS low tire warning light starts flashing. The double horn chirp and flashing TPMS warning light indicates the TPMS matching process has started. The TPMS warning light should continue flashing throughout the matching procedure. The LOW TIRE message displays on the Driver Information Center (DIC).
I tried this because my rear drivers side tpms was non responsive however after trying this and getting 3 of the 4 tires to beep, and not able to get the 4th now all 4 tires are registering "---". How do they come back? I know three do in fact work. Do I have to maybe drive it?
Hi, all 4 are registering "---" because you started retraining process and didn't finish it because one of the tire sensors did not beep. You have to replace the faulty tpms sensor and then repeat the retrain process. All 4 have to beep
@QuiteAlright That's what I was afraid of. I figured the ones that work would just go back to the way they were. I'll just check the TP before I drive until I can get it fixed. I wanted to try it myself but it's gonna cost me like 160 bucks probably to do it myself and no guarantee it's done right. never installed one before and I don't want to create another problem
@@davidpingitore6563 Yes unfortunately to install tire sensors it is the best to take the vehicle to tire shop. Now you could buy the sensor online for $20-$30 and then just take it to the shop and have them install it. Tire shops usually charge $20-$25 for 1 tire dismount, install sensor and balance the wheel afterwards. It is a 5 min job. Make sure to activate the sensor using the tool prior to have it installed in the tire
COUSIN NIKO, would you like to go bowling?
🎉🎉🎉🎉 thank you so much
You are so welcome
My chevy cruze does not have this option in the info screen. Any idea how to get it to show?

What is the tool/scanner i need to use?
Hi you will need a TPMS tool
If one doesn't respond at all, does that mean it's dead?
Hi, yes most likely. These sensors fail very often
Thanks
You're welcome
