I could only dream finding a car like this to fix up. Numbers matching or not do whatever you want to it.I like the 440 as well. Just don’t make it electric 😂
Don't get me started on finding parts for my 1975 Cadillac Eldorado convertible... They only made 9,850 of them and it's a nightmare. Good luck getting a vacuum brake booster, I'm having mine rebuilt... They haven't made them in a decade, impossible to find new.
@@poorcharliescustomauto8951 yeah I kind of remember him saying something about it was not number matching and I should have just deleted the comment but oh well too bad it wasn't number matching there's fewer and fewer out there
The intention is to get it back on the road without spending a fortune.... and as it turns out when I pulled the pan, valve covers and intake it is spotless inside and has all the stampings of a rebuild and a nice tight double roller timing chain. So as some of us know you can luck out once in a while.

Did you check to see if the motor and the charger is a numbers matching motor
Is one cool car though
Cool car I know the struggle you speak of....had to sub.
It's not numbers matching. It's a 68 440 and the charger is a 70 factory it was a 318 car.

So you have a '70 Charger and you are going to put a junkyard 440 in it without a rebuild? Ok... I see were this is going...
