Hah, "FlyToGet", I love it. It should be "Flytoget", literally meaning "The Airplane Train", or in English the Airport Express Train :) Also note: Not all services stop at Lillestrøm!
You are right that it’s Flytoget, which in Norwegian means airtrain. Since the expansion of service years ago, all train stop at Lillestrøm. Check The schedule
@@tommyd3257 Can't even remember commenting this, but that's incorrect: Not all Flytoget services stop at Lillestrøm. Specifically, the FLY1 service from the airport stops at Lillestrøm, continues past Oslo, and then terminates in Drammen. The FLY2 service meanwhile skips Lillestrøm and terminates at Stabekk.
The train from provider ‘Vy’ goes from the airport to Oslo central for half the price and is just as quick, just departs from a different platform. If it is not rush hour, then I always take the cheaper option. Can get crowded ay peak times.
Yeah, if you live there, it's cheaper, and you probably already know how the routes work. But if you don't... it's just a lot less hassle, and that's typically worth the extra price for people.
SO helpful! Thank you!!!

@@tommyd3257 Not all services stops at Lillestrøm only line FLY1 stops at Lillestrøm and the FLY2 service runs directly to Oslo Centralstation

All the snow makes the city look so magical
i took local train and it is very good, punctual, clean and cozy.
Yes, I took the local train for little time difference but a big difference in price back in 2016.

Great video. I will hopefully be using that train service in December.
Thanks, going to Oslo in September!
How was/is oslo?
I see Flytoget has newer trains and they seem to have brighter lighting.
Great video! I may try the local service on my visit 😂
That is crazy that Oslo: has had a High Speed train that runs at 130 Miles per hour from the airport to the city since 1998!
Thank you from Vancouver Island. I am visiting Oslo in Feb. 2024. Very helpful.
How was it?
@Kappenn I had a fantastic time in Oslo and Rjukan area. Met so many family for the first time! Epic. Thanks for asking.
@@kindle7191 Good to hear😊
Twice as expensive as the regular train taking the same time. Plus, the same ticket is valid for other public transport.
Nice to see, this flytoget runs at the speed of 250kms per/hour
And you can even print your airline baggage ticket on them,Amazing.
what do people do with luggage?
«Flytoget» means «The Airplane Train» in Norwegian
The Vy trains are way more cheaper

@@HrHaakon Thats true
I was happy to pay the extra, really good trip - unlike te rattly-clanky UK trains that shake yer bones!
The regional RE10, RE11 and R12 trains from VY are just as quick and comfortable, for half the price.
Flytoget is a scam for unaware tourists
