I'm about to replay Skyrim to play Dragonborn for the first time, and I'm going through all your videos to find some great mods to use. Love the videos so far, but this one especially. Some great choices, the only video that I ended up using ALL the mods showcased.

I love how you feature mostly Immersive mods, and the like. Most of the other mods I watch are about skimpy clothing and alot of other stupid content. Some of its interesting, but i never see them actually going in depth about immersive mods. Immersion is one of the things i found that skyrim lacked, but you are helping me to correct that problem :D.
I have downloaded every single one of those, some on my own, some due to your suggestions. Like or love everyone. I really enjoy the Headtracking, had to turn off the corpse headtracking, though. My character tried to crane her neck to look at some poor dead guy who was in a room downstairs. It was odd. Other than that, love it! The birds are an adorable addition. Love the tweeting too!!

Haha. I spent quite some time yesterday looking for this video, but I only checked the ones I'd already seen, because I thought you'd covered this mod in one of them. And I was partially right, because I had seen this video and the last one, but I didn't watch them here, I watched them on the Skyrim Nexus. Anyway, I gave up after looking through number 1 - 37 three times without finding it.

That save is not the lets play save. It is a branched save I use to make these videos, so often I just add a perks if it is required to showcase a mod. But that is not Stiv. He is about 10 levels too low for a start :)
I love the turning head mod as seen by my Episode 7 of my Skyrim Lets Play. In fact I made a comment back in episode 2 about how good it would be if the head would turn to face people talking to you.
The bird mods remind me of the time I was standing outside(I live in Michigan) and all the birds were flyin south for the winter, and it was just a gigantic black swath of them in the sky. It was a little scary to be honest and when they landed in the trees the noise was so loud you couldn't talk to anyone unless you were yelling in their ear.

There are always going to be people who aren't going to like something just because they want to feel superior. Of course, some may genuinely not like Gopher's presentation for whatever reason. Probably because he has a well developed vocabulary and some don't handle enunciation very well. As for me, his videos have quite literally saved my gaming experience.

You have been doing Skyrim Mod Sanctuary for a wile now. I think it would be good if you did some videos counting down your top 50-25 mods that you like. Obviously I wouldn't expect you to give in-depth detail on every mod (maybe top 10 in more detail) but would be cool to see what you like the most.

Gopher, I love your unique take on this game. How do you feel about the new DLC coming out? Its small but it an interesting addition to an already immersive game: Hearthfire.
I just ran across your modded Fallout 3 playthrough that mirrors my recent interest in modding Fallout (after having dumped 300 hours into three characters in the vanilla game). Now I'm modding away and loving it. 1st question : How do you get all those mods to work together so well? I know there's hundreds of pages of wiki and nexus pages, but it's just so hard to filter out all the junk. Maybe there's one video that gives a lot of info for the beginner to intermediate level, I learn quickly.
Also, 2nd question, would you be so kind as to answer a few questions from time time concerning Gamebryo and mods? It took years to save up the money, but I now have a beastly gaming computer capable of playing and recording (I'm so excited, I've wanted to make content for a long time now). My first idea was a heavily modded let's play of Fallout 3, but it's pretty redundant with yours being so great. I've sat here and watched like 5 in a row and it's some of the best on RUclips in my opinion.

Now I need to see Stiv in a snow white dress, singing to the birds in a forest. One of the birds MUST have J'Zargo's head, that's important.
Do it manually. Go to your Skyrim folder, then your data folder, find your textures folder and drop the retexture into the appropriate folder. Done!
Go to the blacksmith. making your own stuff will always be better, especially in the later parts of the game, but through the various blacksmiths and loot you should be able to cobble together some decent armor.
Wow, I was just thinking recently how you should review skyBirds and Player Headtracking. Are you spying on me, Gopher?
Multiple bird mods, Hitchcock approved. I should make a mod of my bird, a conure who relentlessly attacks everyone who isnt me. Look for it in about 5 years after i learn to do that. The fines will be heavy. On the bright side, for all you broom collectors, he will alert you every time he even catches a passing glimpse of one.
... I just discovered that the skills menu background is the outline of a Mage, worrier and thief stone... And I've been playing since the game came out...

The number for Birds and flocks should be 11555 not 17723 :P

However, some of the files that I have downloaded way back for mod and setup from your tutorial videos, no longer work because the game updated. Could you do an update video on getting all the setup files again for the updated patch of skyrim? thank you.

lol my pc has so many mods installed and these two mods always seem to freeze my game without fail... i've found its best to set skybirds mcm to only have 3/5 birds out at once or my pc basically go's NOPE!!... also these mods work great with JK's skyrim

I'm working on a script for about 40 mins worth of material using Fallout heavily modded to tell a post apocalyptic scavenger story that I've just started on, since the let's play seems like it would be a waste of time. Does anyone know if Gopher has a list somewhere of all the mods he currently uses? I have not played in months and I'm starting from scratch so would like to get the low-down on the best mods currently available. -Without having to watch hours worth of videos, even though they're brilliant I just don't have the time.
Is there a mod where you can hire smiths to craft armor for you and to upgrade your weapons and armor for a fee. It would be cool if anyone knew of one because im playing as a thief and I would rather not have to waste perk points on smithing.
They should add an option for skyBirds where the birds can defecate on things...on people ..& on the Dragonborn..would be comical :D
