Tim Foust is the bass singer of Home Free with a 5 octave range! When he blows out speakers with his bass notes us Home Fries (fans of HF) refer to it as "releasing the dragon"! He did all the harmonies in this with over lays. There is no lead singer in HF as there are no egos! They all decide who would sound best taking the lead! btw you were singing along and missed his perfect high note at the end! You really need headphones for a cappella groups!
This is another great rendition by Tim Foust. What makes this so impressive is that he is doing all the parts himself (bass, tenor, background vocals & sounds). Love his new cd with all the older doo-wop songs. His voice really suits this genre of music. We know he can really bring the bass but how about his falsetto? He has a 5 octave range. I have always loved these 2 songs from 1960 "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" by The Shirelles & "Stay" by Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs.
This is the bass from Home Free. The think that is so extraordinary about this video is that he is singing all of the layers here. His voice is the only one in the song, from that low growl to the high notes. He has a 5 octave range, but normally sings bass.
There are 5 members of Home Free and other than their world class beat boxer (also sings) any of them may take lead and lead can switch within the same song. All have killer voices and they just know who is suited to which part!
Written by the extremely talented Carole King. Tim is well known for his ability to blow out speakers with his rumbling bass notes but will sing tenor as needed. He also writes a lot of the HF songs & worked as a songwriter for years. 💜💜💜
I'd not call Tim "the high voice guy". He is renown as a bass with an amazing range - that he sounds fantastic all the way up and down. If you love harmony, Home Free and probably Voice Play are just for you. HF's harmonies are unmatched. 5 glorious voices, 4 lead singers, magnificent harmonies, amazing percussion 'section' - both bass and beatbox.
All of Home Free is amazing! This is one of Tim’s solo tracks from a doo-wop album he was working on! He does all of the tracks! This is my favorite one!!❤ Thanks for reacting Krizz❤❤
Home Free is an a cappella group of 4 singers and a beatboxer (who sings occasionally.). Tim is the bass of the group with a 5 octave range so he was just showing off his incredible range. He has broken speakers with his bass. He loves doo wop of the 50’s and 60’s. This was done by Frankie Valle and the Four Seasons a long time ago. Tim does this on his own channel while also singing with Home Free. Three of the 4 singers are also songwriters so they do have originals which are so good. Tim is a songwriter also. They are known for tremendous harmonies. Try Helplessly Hoping, I Can’t Outrun You, Yours, The Greatest Gifts of All (new song by Tim). Love them!!! Enjoy!! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
Tim Foust isn't really the high-voice-guy (though he's certainly capable of doing it and does, in fact, do it occasionally) but the really-low-voice-guy. He just has a massive vocal range that allows him to cover low-bass (where his voice sits naturally), middle baritone and high tenor. This song shows it clearly as everything, from the lead to the background vocals, was done by Tim. And Home Free doesn't have a designated lead singer, they all sing lead, depending who sounds best for the song.
As many other posts have said, he completely missed the fact that this video and song was all done by Tim, by himself. He is part of Home Free, but they are not part of this one at all. It literally shows Tim singing both the high and low parts in the video.
Tim has a smart mouth and a playfully abusive relationship with audiences. That, along with his body rattling bass, has drawn a lot of fans. Austin Brown, HomeFree heart throb and high tenor, probably had the biggest percentage of fans, but retired from the road this summer. Adam Bastien, the new high tenor, is still getting incorporated, and appeals to a different demographic. We’ll see. All the guys have their supporters. I’ll be back for anymore reactions in the HomeFree Universe. Tim Foust and Peter Hollens did a nice series of a cappella duets with multilayered harmonies. And the current Peter, Paul & Mary, could be The Hound + The Fox with HomeFree’s Adam Chance. “Wayfaring Stranger” has lovely folky harmonies and acoustic guitars.
Tim can regularly hit an E1 on the low end and A5 on the upper end of his vocal range and sings all of the parts in this. Tim also taught Geoff Castellucci how to achieve the bone rattling low notes. Home Free is an a capella quartet with a world class beat boxer.🙏🤙✌️
I love all of Home Free, but I can not tell a lie, Tim Foust and Adam Rupp, the beat boxer, are my favorites. It takes all of them for the beauty of the group that is Home Free❤❤❤❤❤❤
Tim’s doing ALL the vocals on his solo album here. He’s a basso profundo with a five octave range. Check out his acapella group- Home Free. They do every single genre. “ Man of Constant Sorrow” “ End of the Road” “How Great Thou Art” “ Butts Remix”
This was recorded during the "lockdown", and he did ALL of the parts here. With Home Free, he is usually the bass notes, but not always, at least two of the others switch in if he goes high. This guy is one of the most amazing singers of this age!
"Stay" was originally sung by Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs, and subsequently covered by the Four Seasons, and Jackson Browne, among others. Each version is spectacular.
Thank you Krizz Kaliko for reacting to Tim Foust. I'm thinking it would have been better for you if you had known Tim was the bass singer and as others have mentioned he has a 5 octive range. I love Tim and I love the oldies. When he covered this, it just remined me of how high this guy can get. when we Home Fries get used to that deep barritone voice. Thank you again. I listen to many reactors including Black Pegasus and this was my first request. I appreciate your time and i love your channel. I know you will get the subscribers you are seeking.
All the men in Home Free are vocal chameleons. Tim Foust (bass) has an album of doo-wop songs (Pieces of Me Part I) and a side project "Alley Cats" with other doo-wop singers. Along with friends, he also does fund raising for at risk veterans. Tim also has duets with Austin Brown (first tenor) of "My Maria", "What's it to you" and "Hers Ain't Mine" (all on Austin's channel).
Ya should’ve let it play to the very end where Tim lets ya know about his full album 💿 that this song 🎧 is on. PLEASE do a deeper dive into Home Free and each of the members? Also Please check out Voice Play. Both of these groups are Amazing
Tim Foust is bass for the group, but in this case, it is all him, every part! His range is beyond amazing! React to their cover of Ring of Fire, please! ❤
Hey, I loved your reaction with Black Pegasus so I came on over to Check out your channel. I’m a big Home Free fan and Tim is the base for the group. He’s singing all of the parts in this one. To get a better feel for Home Free. Heck out their cover of “End of the Road,” “Thinking Out Loud/Let’s Get It On” by Ed Seerhan and Marvin Gaye…good stuff! I just saw that you reacted to “Brothers In Arms” by Dire Straits. Home Free covered this one too and it’s hauntingly beautiful.
OK, you got me. I subscribed. Between your reactions to Home Free, Zach Rushing (First Black Cook Out) and now Tim Foust, I just had to subscribe. Peace from Kentucky!
You might check out 24 yo Moroccan-Canadian pop songwriter, Faouzia too. I’d suggest either her 2019 reworking of J.Cole’s “Middle Child”, or something from this years’ appearance on Chinese TV. Maybe her cover of Sting’s “Desert Rose” or Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather”.
Like Geoff Castellucci, Tim Foust has a 5+ octave vocal range (their vocal ranges are nearly identical), while predominantly being a bass. Geoff has a bit more resonance down low, where Tim has a bit more clarity in his higher register than Geoff does. Both can pull off all vocal parts with ease, though. And, Geoff and Tim are friends, by the way.

So funny you talking about Tim being the high voice, when he is known for blowing speakers in concerts with his low bass notes.
I was thinking that too 😊
Kris Tim Faust has a 5 octave range. He sang all the parts in this song.
*Foust
home free is unusual because all members have their moments and songs -- there is no single leader -- they are excellent
Tim needs to save some octaves for the rest of us.
Tim Foust from Home Free has a 5 plus octave range. He is also a Basso Profundo. Home Free is just Awesome and so is Tim Foust!
This is all Tim doing it. All the harmonies, everythin. You should check out ring of fire and when he sings with peter hollens.

Oh I live me some Tim Foust! The only CD I have purchased in this century is Tim Foust's Pieces of Me!

❤❤❤❤❤ Home Free is amazing. Tim has such a beautiful voice, no matter what range he choices.
Tim is definitely my fav myself....
❤❤❤❤. Love me some Timmy. Peace out man ✌️

I believe Austin tends to get the most attention in the group. However, they’re all extremely gifted and talented.!
"Stay" was originally sung by Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs, and subsequently covered by the Four Seasons, and Jackson Browne, among others. Each version is spectacular.

Women just melt when Faust hit that real low bass that rattles your soul
He is not the high voice guy, he is the low bass. He just happens to have a ridiculous range
He has the second highest voice in HF next to Adam Rupp.
Hey, I loved your reaction with Black Pegasus so I came on over to Check out your channel. I’m a big Home Free fan and Tim is the base for the group. He’s singing all of the parts in this one. u r the realest reactor on youtube i love it when u get into it
Sick Range. He can flat out sing
I would strongly suggest that you watch Home Free sing "Mayday".
No, no, no. You'd appreciate that song more if you familiarize yourself with Tim's bass voice, and the other guys' ranges, before enjoying Mayday.
Check out Misty mountain to really hear his bass
Tim is mind-blowing on this one but I'm waiting patiently for you to do some Voiceplay and hear their bass, Geoff Castellucci! He's a phenom!!!
Great Reaction, Krizz!! Tim Foust is amazing!! Happy New Years and God bless… from Texas!!
Happy New Year to you too!
@ I hope that you and your family are enjoying the holidays!! Might we ever hear some RUSH from you? Are you familiar?
Man of Constant Sorrow and When a Man loves a woman pleeeease
THE SHIRELLES - WILL YOU LOVE ME TOMORROW - 1960 A great girl group pre-Motown I believe Krizz - I was 12 years old.
❤❤❤
If you love harmonies please react to the Bee Gees. They are 3 brothers who have hits since the 1960's. The have the best harmonies and falsettos.
He is their Bass singer Tim has a 5 octave range
The Mamas and the Papas, California Dreamin 😊
You might check out 24 yo Moroccan-Canadian pop songwriter, Faouzia too.
I’d suggest either her 2019 reworking of J.Cole’s “Middle Child”, or something from this years’ appearance on Chinese TV. Maybe her cover of Sting’s “Desert Rose” or Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather”.
You should listen to Brothers in Arms, Listen to the Music, When a Man Loves Woman.
They all" try out" for each song
❤❤❤ Try Home Free's covers of "What We Ain't Got", "Thinking Out Loud" and "End Of The Road". Have you seen their "Butts Remix"?

5, and they are all wonderful. They share, but Tim does subharmonic to high tenor. You should watch HF, Ring of Fire.
Home Free there is no lead singer in the group and they also don’t do just covers they have many many originals.
Please do Kenny Roger’s & Home Free, “ Children go where I find thee”.
His range is crazy??
ruclips.net/video/pU4c9d_Qw5g/видео.htmlsi=lNW7lSo8DKzsIB4v You will hear his low notes in here
