This video tells about the working procedure of a Bio-Digester, AMI, Bio-Toilet, Advantages, Benefits & Applications. Bio-Toilet has been developed in Technical Association with "Defence Research & Development Organization" - DRDO, Ministry of Defence - Government of India.
Bio-digester technology has been extensively used for resolving the problems of un-decomposed human waste. The innovation degrades and converts human waste into usable water and gases in an eco-friendly manner.
This Bio-Toilet can work efficiently in temp range of -55⁰C to 55⁰C. It's easy to transport and install in Hilly, Railway Coaches, Metros, Slums, Footpaths, Railway Stations, Fairs and any geographical area. It's already adopted by Railway's Coaches and widely uses across India in Sawchh Bharat campaign.
The generated gas can be utilized for energy/ cooking and water for irrigation purposes. The process involves the bacteria which feed upon the faecal matter inside the tank through an anaerobic process which finally degrades the matter & releases methane gas that can be used for cooking along with the treated water for reuse.
Bio-digester technology is environment friendly, maintenance-free and efficient without depending on conventional energy sources. The effluent is odourless and gets rid-off most of the pathogens.
This Bio-Toilet is available in different Models & materials like Stationary Bio-Toilet, Mobile Bio-Toilet etc.

That does not mean everyone deserves it. In some countries bio toilets have been placed. But now they are destroyed.

@@dplusarc hii, this Biodigester is very much suitable for flood prone areas, since the anaerobic digestion process takes place in a specially designed container in a eco-friendly manner and the process produces biogas(methane, carbon dioxide, CO and some trace gases) & water as end products.
There is no slurry generation, whatever sludge enters into Bio-digester, it is completely converted into Biogas and water.
What is current stage?
Can the methane gas produced here be used for cooking?
Can KEROSENE mixed with biogas ?
No.....
In Electric generators, which are to be run on Biogas, diesel can be used in starting phase
Sooo it is just a small septic tank… whose geometry and hydraulics are inefficient for biodigestion. And what about the periodic handling of the accumulated biodigested sludge? Better than nothing I guess but the design could be improved a lot.

It is designed to handle a defined quantity of sludge and it gives desired results, you cannot compare it with a septic tank. The entire Technology is patented by DRDO, ministry of defence. It is doing great in Railways.
