SOOOOO true
not rly lol we didn't need another black ops in the first place
It was even a major disappointment for me and the rest of the people who expected good content. Like it wasnt that bad but it was something i gues
95% of the community doesnt realize that Buried, Voyage Of Despair and Dead Of The Night in a nutshell is : Setup everything / Get the wonderweapon -> Upgrade/PAP it -> camp somewhere where the zombies cant come behind you. (Buried Jug - VOD Turbine Room - DOTN where the artifact is)
Buried has a "different setup" (because of Leroy) , Paralyzer doesnt kill after round 70 anymore so you use the uhh sling? Might be the wrong word , you can gain all perks with the ghost mansion + time bomb = the most innovative one out of the three and one of the most innovative maps ever.
Dead Of The Night = very long setup, insane wonderweapon with infinite damage and doesnt even need the final upgrade. You can have basically infinite ammo with secret sauce -> buying it till you get bandolier bandit and you can do as long as you have the money. Has its own innovations.
Voyage Of Despair = easy setup, wonderweapon is not 1 shot after a while but with the waterzombie upgrade it slows all zombies down like the paralyzer + can kill them. Also you can have infinite ammo with it when you pick parts of the elemental zombies after killing , so you can use it refill ammo for 6k every time. Has its own innovations aswell.
The difference between the maps are literally just the innovations, the setup and wonderweapon, the map itself (ofc) + on VOD/DOTN all 4 players can have the WW , but same gameplay for the best strategy/majority of the players. Also VOD + DOTN have the con of the hellion salvo and timeslip being in the game, which turns every map into shoot to the ground = a flaw of bo4. Yes Buried is better but by maybe 1 point in a 1 to 10 rating - DOTN and VOD are really good. I mean sure you can train on Buried , on VOD its hard like Shangri-La , on DOTN not really but most wont do that.
I honestly never realized this before. Gameplaywise you are right agreed. Damn
Fact this guy doesnt know how to play both maps and calls them trash and lowest of the low wtf
"Imagine a zombies map on the titanic where you stop the ship from sinking" yeah thats nice and all, but everyones already dead, you've just got a massive boat full of zombies now. Let that booch sink
presofcamelot ehh? I think it’s good that it sinks treyarch are trying to set it as if there were actually zombies on the titanic when it sank. Which I like but ye the map needed something added to it or changed about it I just can’t put my finger on it
In the end of the ee the people unzombifed
@@mrlion644 it needs to be bigger more lit up and more area to train. A better wonder weapon would help too
*"I'm going to analyze all of the black ops 4 maps-"*

@Mikel Montalat it changed
Even RUclips knows that BO3 is the better game lol
Bruh for me it says Black Ops, like the original black ops lmao
Is it sad that I hated this map so much that the first time I figured out how to pack a punch on it was because of this video?
The Griffin 115 same
The Griffin 115 just trying to navigate this irregular ass map to activate the pack-a-punch is such a fucking grind you’re burning through like 200 zombies just to get to each pillar

There’s a reason they had to make a tutorial in game for zombies. It was overly confusing
The Griffin 115 same homie
When we need the powerful wonderweapon
Kar98k
The jet gun to be exact

Yes the Kar98k is powerful
PACMAN9000rc we need something stronger like the Springfield and the SMR.
We need the pack a punched Springfield. Aka " Alabama's revenge"
I was late to BO4, and I jumped on the Voyage of Despair hate-train initially. My brother had played before I did, and had told me stories reinforcing all of my worries. Then... I actually played it, and I fell in love. I've always been a bit of a Titanic enthusiast; I have posters and models, I've built it multiple times on Minecraft, etc. But, looking past that, I just love everything about this map, I personally feel it's very pretty and the distress flares add a whole layer of depth to the direness of the situation, which was the sinking of the Titanic. I have yet to use the wonder weapon, but I've gotten to 31, by myself, before calling it quits and 28 w/ randoms. I love trying to make the cramped, chaotic training spots work, as it engages my brain at a very high level, as I do seem to have some form of ADHD. This map is easily in my top 5 and just sits below Shaolin Shuffle.
I actually think voyage despair is ok only because is in the titanic

Eh you where close
I think voyage is so underrated. I think when its older its gonna age like shang ri la did
It should age like Buried. In a nutshell the best way to play on both maps (which most do) is to setup everything up and get the WW -> Upgrade/PAP -> Search a corner where the zombies cant get from behind (Buried Jug and VOD Turbine room) and just camp. Its so funny 95% of the community havent figured this out.
It should but probably wont because youtubers wont admit being wrong on bo4 any maps.
The poop deck was voyage of despair’s best feature
Had me at poop.
and your pfp is the best perk in zombies
Justin Scarborough Tombstone quietly weeps
Let that sink.. Like the Titanic, you know
Justin Scarborough tell us something we don’t know buddy
I actually love voyage
-unique atmosphere
-challenging
-the boss fight
-the kraken
-chaos story (which I like)
The only flaw i saw was the wasted potential when it comes to the story and the Easter egg itself (although I like the boss fight like I said)
If voyage was on bo3 it would’ve been a hard nut for me

@@steelersnh_1621 Siri, what is an opinion
@@steelersnh_1621 let a guy speak god
Wait?
What about Blops 3 would make it better?
Not bashing your comment or anything, I just fail to see how being in a previous title is an improvement.
Voyage is an amazing map. Boss fight still gives me anxiety on the last round of it. But its so satisfying when You kill the eye. Theres also so many mini easter eggs in the map like upgrading the shield, the bowie knife.. enabling all of the packapunches to appear at once as well as able to buy ammo from the pack a punch machine, theres a free perk easter egg, theres the flying car easter egg which is part of the shield upgrade, and you can even switch your specialist weapon in the middle of the game with an easter egg and get free fast travel. Theres so much to do on the map I dont get what all the hate is for for most of the zombies community.
Wait when he said "it lacks that intangible zombies feel"
How does IX have that feeling. I feel like IX is the least "zombies" zombies map
lil richy Voyage feels like a story driven campaign mission that has zombies serving as an inconvenience or an obstacle rather than a core gameplay mechanic while IX is pure zombies with the additional stuff added on top of it.
You’re trying to convince me this apple is an orange?
@@kidn00b1 Tf does this phrase mean

IX is way better, this Titanic map is just dull asf.. Like we haven't seen the the iceberg scene before a millions already. At least IX isn't a rip off and it's is own character.
Honestly I enjoy voyage, i think it gets too much hate like the wonder weapon is cool, atmasphire is awesome and high rounds can be fun.
I remember hearing this map was bad so I booted it up with some friends expecting to laugh at how bad it was but to our shock we had so much fun unironicly, we were there for 6 hours getting krakens for all three of us and even making one on our first try and Shaw, diago and Brunos voice lines made us laugh for hours but If you think it sucks go ahead have your opinion and play the maps you love thanks for reading my comment.

This map IMO is the best BO4 Zombies map. Ever since I’ve been trying to speed run the EE which results in me replaying this map 24/7, I grew to love it.
*CHAOS Maps > AETHER Maps in BO4*
Kotaac the thing about chaos maps is that theyre original unlike aether
Kotaac I respect your opinion, but I disagree
I completely agree with you on Voyage, this map really is amazing if you don't suck and blame objects for ruining zombie flow. I can disagree with Chaos having better maps, however Chaos never got the chance to really show what its got.
@@MidgetBlaster they had plenty of chances had about 5 maps for just them how many chances do they need
Of course Chaos > Aether maps in BO4 zombies.... BECAUSE ALL THE BLOODY CHAOS MAPS ARE NEW AND ORIGINAL UNLIKE THE FUCKING AETHER MAPS.
Still pisses me so much to this day how we still haven’t been given a new original aether map. The last one was Gorod Krovi.
I'll be honest I like this map. Granted this opinion is coming from someone who doesn't do Easter eggs and the second thing is when I do play this map I turn off all the boss zombies except the blight father. When you play it this way I find it can be quite enjoyable, granted you won't level up but I many play for fun.
I just think it's ironic that your name is "Boss Hunter". Lol
I agree though, I pretty much turn off everything but regular zombies too when playing Black Ops IIII. The only exception is if they're needed for something like Brutus to get his key.
I’d love to see Tim cover AW, IW and WW2 zombies after he finishes BO4

I kiiinda liked VoD... its nice to have a hard map... the only thing I truly hated was the PaP, water section and 4th perk location.
Dude same not even for the Easter egg just rolling high rounds on this map is sick. It's big enough yet is quick to manoeuvre due to portals, good weapons, good wonder weapon inreally don't get the hate
The layout of this map feels like something from resident evil
RE Gaiden was on a boat, right?
I like this map’s theme so much
I havn't played zombies personally for quite some time, but I have enjoyed watching RUclipsrs play it, I completely forgot BO4 was a thing so when This map started appearing I thought it was a really good custom zombies map that everybody was praising. It took me longer than I am comfortable to admit to realize this was a BO4 map.
It's a very great map, it's fun once you learn it.
It's not casual like IX and the ee is fun. Its a top 10 map, not perfect but a great experience.
IX is for the casuals, Vod is for the boys
Voyage of Despair, 11/10, has a place called “Poop Deck”
Edit: why the fuck are people getting genuinely offended by a poop joke, I’m just trying to play 7 days to die

Voyage actually may be my favorite map in bo4. I'm surprised so many hate it!
Why though
@@ahmadberrou6770 this was before other maps came out.
But I just like the layout/map design/concept. It was unique and original at the time.
I never looked up the EE because I wanted to try and learn it all by myself.
I got pack shield and wonder weapon upgrade pretty quick, a week or 2 in I learned how to get some of the elemental upgrades, and from there the first 2 or 3 steps of the egg with hints at where to go from there but never finished it.
@@Sweetdude64 I respect your opinion, my first playthrough of voyage was magical, and spawning in for the first time and seeing the ice berg hit was so epic, but the only thing not going for it is this map is repetitive, the parts are all over the place and the EE is a pain in the ass, but overall, voyage for me is an OK map
@@ahmadberrou6770 that's fair! I can agree with that. Ice berg at the beginning really sold it for me. That and the fact the ship actually sways as if the waves were affecting it.
I'm with everyone else wishing the titanic sinking was the egg instead of astrology. But astrology is cool, too.
By the way I did that whole try and solve it yourself with all of bo4 and ended up getting to the 2-4th step on all maps with the exception of Ancient Evil where I barely learned how to get the gauntlets/NEVER got the Ray gun elemental built on Alpha Omega, and Dead of the night where I could never consistently open pap because that was ridiculous LOL.
I filled the bucket with poison on IX.
I got farthest in Tag. Got to the listening step where there are like 15 different possible names/locations.
People always complain Mob is like a 3 hour egg so I'm not upset I never learned it :P But I still got to 2nd step and even learned how to upgrade the shield! :)
@@Sweetdude64 it was good talking to you man, blood of the dead is highly underrated, people give it way to much shit and disrespect, and BTW, every black ops 4 map is a magical adventure and highly unique, but the black ops 4 system was bad, imagine zombies chronicals 2 happening and having evey bo4 map remastered on the bo3 system, treyarch would have mountains of cash from this. I didn't play the dlc maps, cause in Lebanon everything is expensive af but seeing gameplay of the maps seems very good, to me, bo4 is a 8.5 out of 10 zombies game in my mind

Michael Weinberger that actually sounds pretty fun it could work I think with the WW2 zombies characters
Not a bad idea actually just this generation is baby soft
It would have been neat if the continued the concept of like shadows and mob with 4 people stuck in purgatory but that's my opinion
I have all the zombies maps on Bo4.. I've practically only played Voyage because I'm trying to do that god damn easter egg.. IX is fun and pretty easy to get high rounds. I haven't played blood enough to even know the basics. Same with classified. And the DLC Maps I own? Fogetta bout em
Dead of the Night was supposed to come before Voyage of Despair and made me appreciate the map's Easter Egg a hell of a lot more when we found out a lot more about Scarlet and her father.
The map isn't terrible, or even bad for that matter. The wonder weapon basically has infinite ammo, there's not nearly as many blight father's and heavies as there are on IX, and there's 3 great training areas on top of the boat, and one decent one in the interior.
I did this map on Rush mode for months to try to get the stupid 415 Defends, and when I got it, I found that the map, like any other, takes time to play. Maybe not the excessive amount that I have, but when you compare this map to something like Tranzit, or Die Rise, hell even Mob of the Dead. These new crews with no idea as to what's going on in the story and are just left wondering about everything. The story's never supposed to make sense from the start, and I don't understand why so many people despise Chaos because it's boring? It's not? We fought a giant eye as a boss fight that was spectacular. The giant Elephants on IX, the giant werewolf on DOTN, and the Pegasus and the angry god on AE. Chaos has so much potential but people refuse to give it a chance because it's "not aether". Aether has been stale remakes since Revelations and was basically dead to me since then. Seeing BOTD and Classified with absolute DOGSHIT easter eggs made me not even care for DLC 3 and 4, and rightfully so. Alpha Omega is THE WORST map I've ever played. I'd literally rather have the demizons crawling on my face in unsee-able fog than the garbage nova crawlers that not only buff zombies, but have infinite range from the rooftops in nearly every outside area of the map on every round. Then we finally end off the Aether story with the Victis crew in the FIFTH remade map from Aether. (I count revelations as 1).
It's just mind boggling how people are so "attached" to this nonlogical story that you had to look up to understand. Chaos makes sense and kept it simplistic so you didn't have to resort to a third party resource to understand the the fuck was going on.
I think the main thing I enjoyed was how they kept it interconnected. Between Dead of the Night to VOD, to IX, to Ancient Evil, they were connected maps.
It wasn't like Der Eisendrache to Zetsoubo where they're randomly captured on a boat with no reason as to how they got there other than you piecing outside information into it.
The transition from IX to Ancient Evil is literally flawless.
Anyways, that's my rant as to why Chaos doesn't suck, and people should give is a second chance.
I played these new zombies for the first time and I don’t like how they try to make things so complicated or extra
Maybes it’s just me but I like the simple black ops 1 zombies that were just kill zombies and survive
Maybe it’s because I don’t get how to play or something but I don’t really like it
I think where they went wrong is they tried to copy what WWII was doing previously, which isn't necessarily wrong as taking ques from other Zombies that weren't Treyarch-made helped us in different points.
What I mean by this is that Exo Zombies was the first to do the 3-hit system as opposed to the 2-hit system that was in World at War, Black Ops and Black Ops II. Exo Zombies also brought back Tombstone and "upgraded" it by not automatically losing all of your perks when you go down and by just having to go to where you died and recovering your guns without needing to buy a perk. I think this is part of what may have influenced the Gobblegums of Black Ops III, that love them or hate them, many players enjoyed.
WWII was probably my least enjoyable overall Zombies experience on Call of Duty, though. It was interesting at first, but just became more tedious than enjoyable eventually. Unfortunately, Black Ops IIII fell into the same mold. Had they made Blood of the Dead, Classified, Alpha Omega and Tag der Toten as they originally were instead of taking away or adding areas, I may have enjoyed them more. Now Black Ops Cold War is doing the same with Nacht and it's giving me some "meh" feelings about it because it feels like they're just going to repeat Black Ops IIII's mantra. Eh.
Five: wow, classical map. Challenging asf. Good👌👌
Voyage of despair: claustrophobic shit😡😡
I actually like voyage.

Honestly I like this map, it’s the only Bo4 map I like that’s not paid DCL or Black Ops Pass but I respect your opinion but don’t worry I don’t like Die Rise
Voyage of Despair was my favourite map on BO4 until Ancient Evil, the kraken is my favourite wonder weapon in maybe all of zombies just from how good it feels to use. Voyage had the most entertaining voice lines from the chaos crew imo, the stokers felt thematically welcome and are much more manageable than the spam of heavy enemies that is IX. I loved the puzzle solving steps in the easter egg as well as having a gauntlet around each catalyst which also proved to be a challenge if not prepared. I especially loved the boss fight (even if it didn't make too much sense), it truly gave the map the supernatural presence I I believe a lot of us think it should've had, and it was also one of the most engaging boss fights in the whole series. I loved the side easter eggs - the shield upgrade, the free kraken, the swappable special weapons (just not the free perk egg). Also imo all they needed to do to make the map have a stunning atmosphere would be to keep the planets in the sky at all stages of the game - or at least a very early part of the easter egg. This comment is getting way too long so I won't go into why I rate it over the other maps but I generally feel it's a pretty solid map and maybe if the map was more atmospheric it would be remembered better as one of the tougher maps in the series, like Shangri-la.
Please rank all the Zombies Easter Egg Songs!!!🙏🏾
Unpopular opinion: VoD is a legit good map, I like it very much

Dude I love those ice zombies. And I love those bosses forgot their name. Such a good.map dude. Come on. !
Good quote though. We all have different opinions. And i am here for that personal reason myself.
This is the order from best to worst of the starting maps ... change my mind
1. Nine
2. Botd
3. Classified
4. Voyage
Zach Temoro classified was beter than botd
Zach Temoro I’d say classified is better than blood, because classified was a remake which fixed the issues of five, improving the winters howl and letting you know where the teleporters would take you allowing the map to flow better. However, blood ruined the flow of mob of the dead by removing afterlife and the magmagat was underwhelming.
danny McCrea I put botd before classified because even though they were both remakes, botd added more and it had the better story, Easter egg, and it had a boss battle. Plus I like Mob more the Five
Blood is the worst thing ever
Mr P Good worse than Voyage?
