Hope you like this relaxing and beautiful glimpse of Baja from the air. Making this video was a great escape from all the madness happening around the world, and I hope that watching it provides the same relief for you. Stay safe my friends!
This video is a great gift to all of us. Couldn't stop smiling and feeling grateful to be alive. I have been in many of the places you show yet each one is known anew and in a greater way by seeing what you saw. :-) I love revisiting this video once in a while and it is always such a feeling of joy. I love the idea of tooling around Baja: car camping, kayaking in the Sea of Cortez, and maybe bike packing once I get my new Priority bike and once it is possible to travel down there again. Thanks again for putting together such a magical video. It is one of those gifts that keeps on giving! :-)
Ryan I found your video's a year and a half ago, how inspiring! I've watched nearly all of them. I'm an avid adventure cyclist and live through you vicariously when unable to bikepack or cycle. Thank you for what you do, your being who God designed you to be. I'm cycling Costa Rica this July so I hope to catch you at RAGBRAI next year. I'll be on a fatty with a where's Van Duzer t-shirt on... NO CRASHIES, NO FLATIES, NO WHAMMIES!!! Ernie
I am choking up...your beautiful soul, your positive attitude, your gorgeous smile! Your careless dancing! I am with you! Thank you for taking us out into the nature! Please be safe! Whoever thumbs down, please we do not need negativism. Curve yours. The world would be so much better with more of Ryan's soul and attitude. Thank you Ryan! Thank you, your mom who brought you up, became who you are now! 🚵♂️💝👏
I needed this! With PTSD and my days consisting of the bed to the couch and back in these odd dark times social isolation really threw me off my game. Pissed that Im getting a refund back from ragbrai due to covid19. To just forget, and relax to your footage really turned me around. Love YOU Ryan! 💪🖒
Not sure how the personnel from Iowa will be handling this since I am from Texas but I can say they do a phenomenal job. Governor Abott gave us a green light to cycle as we go through this virus ordeal but we must keep distance in small groups of 2-3. So, I think Ragbrai is keeping an eye on it from there end. However, no official word on RAGBRAI website about closing but they are sending refunds out. So, maybe its to those most affected?
Damn Ryan ..... right on time , we are going into day 3 (only) of our lock down in South Africa. Already going stir crazy , can only ride my mountain bike in my yard , so , have created a 100 meter course around my house , and am doing a minimum of an hour a day. Am busy with a video of it , but need your editing genius !! Have a great day !!!!!
This was EPIC!! Thank you so much for "taking" us along on your adventures. I love seeing different parts of the world that I'll never be able to see myself in person. These drone videos are my fav.
I'm thinking you must be Cortez, but with much better intentions, and a drone. I love the sea, but the desert cliffs at 12:50 gives me a real flavor of Baja!
Viewing land from above is akin being separated from what grounds you in your life, your earth. There is no mental satisfaction in viewing a birds eye perspective from the eyes of a earth bound man.
Totally different views, I can't believe how different it all feels from above, and the music completely take it to another level, this is so cool!!✌🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Beautiful, breathtaking views, Ryan, your drone footage is excellent. Covers so much of the vastness, while capturing the natures beauty, and the history of the land. Truly amazing how well you capture it all. Love the music, you’re an amazing artist Ryan, thank you for sharing.
Nice Sunday morning vid to get me started. As an “Essential” worker of construction, my day to day has not changed during this world effecting pandemic. I thank God for that. Ryan keep me coming Sir. You are achieving your goal of positively affecting people especially in this adverse time we are traveling. We will get through it folks. We are more connected and affect each other more today with far mire people on Earth than ever before. I embrace it. After I cut the grass, I’m going for a ride. Take care all. Jon
Another mic drop with arms crossed - you provided another beautiful video. With our current reality, this adds to the hopefulness of our futures. I promise myself I will be going to Baja soon after the quarantines and will ride (some of) the Divide. Ryan thanks so much amigo for what you do, and like you- I have so much appreciation for the underrated bean burrito - buen provecho !
This is awesome! What a nice video to watch, especially in those difficult moments for all the humanity. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us. You always transmit positivity, love and kindness. These are the real values we need on this incredible Planet . God bless you.
Hi there my friend, I hope you and your family, and your friends are all well in this sad times that we are all going through in this moment in time.😥 Wow!! The music for your Baja drone videos clip was so moving, it helped to a nice smile on my face😊 watching your clips. To you and to all your viewers Be Safe 🇺🇸👍🏴
Awesome, Stunning, Breathtaking, my oh my, what a video! Thank you Ryan on behalf of all of us locked up. I needed to end my indoor day with a deep breath. I will watch it again tomorrow morning.
This is just beautiful, Ryan. We are currently on lockdown here’s in the Uk and only able to take a local walk, run or cycle ride once a day for exercise and it must be solo or with those you live with. I’m just recovering from suspected Covid 19 having had mild symptoms (only the desperate cases are admitted to hospitals for testing and treatment) and this beautiful footage is just the ticket just now. Thank you.
I am such a sucker for these videos from above, Ryan. They're truly one of a kind. Hope you'll make more of them. Duzer Masterclass of ambience. Sincerely A.K.
STUNNING! This is the icing on the cake for the series. I can't say enough wonderful things about this. Thank goodness for drone cameras and that you can really put them to their best use perfectly.
This should be shown by the tourist council for Baja. You deserve a UNESCO world heritage award. I don't even like the desert and I want to go to Baja. I want to be and see the world like a drone camera. You could, should, start making documentaries for the whole world. I am blown away by this video. It should be played on a never ending loop in bicycle shops.
I've been saving this one for the right time to view. Just watched it, twice. What a treat! Thanks for the great work! Much of the previous aerial footage I have seen of Baja is documenting off road motorcycle or car racing. Those are great, but your work here is so much more peaceful, and more in the spirit of the way I like to experience Baja. Muy tranquilo. Mil gracias por todo!
Ryan, my compliments what a beautiful video of yours! Of baja California I'm a native of rocky point ( Puerto penasco) mexico, I have always love watching videos of the baja peninsula, but yours took the prize! Congrats. Mario ornelas
Oh my!!! Beautiful aerial movie!!! Very nice!!! Hope you are doing well! Stay safe! Tell your brother be careful out there! And just a big THANK YOU!!!
Such a joy to see this video again! It gives me hope and a great feeling that all is okay. It is one of those gifts that keeps on giving. Saludos y abrazos :-)
It’s thank you so much for this video I really love the way you do your stories it’s not just how far you peddled it’s about the people you met and some of your insights it lets us see in this case Baja through your eyes truly enjoyable
Awesome, something positive to watch versus all the negativity that seems to fill every TV channel in these current times. Nice recap of your Baja Adventure
That was sooooooooooooooo awesome! There is no such thing as too much Baja. Birds have it made, don't you think? What awesome views and perspectives you get from the drone footage. A joy to watch. Thanks for sharing! :-)
Gorgeous and SOOO soothing. I kept reliving your adventures as I watched these beautiful shots. Sweet to see your riding buddies again. MIRA!!! Loved the shots at 1:25 , 7:33 , and 13:26. Thanks again!!

Thanks for this Ryan! It reminds me of Sunday Morning news show the part at the end of segment that shows a great nature scene with audio of the wildlife. It gave me a small break in the stressful day our family has had. A family member is showing symptoms of covid and is being denied a test. Peace!
I have to say that I admire your ability to make truly cinematic and smooth drone shots. My problem with my drone is I get too "jerky". I will learn from you.
Beautiful. Thank you Ryan. Perhaps you need to do a video (in these quarantined times) of how to set up, maintain, and use a drone for these stunning videos?. I'm sure the adjustments and technique isn't what people imagine. I used to fly model airplanes and I know it takes practice to move something in the air the direction you want it. Controls go the opposite way if it is going away from you vs coming at you. Drones are more difficult as you have the camera angle to also deal with. Is the camera mounted on a separate servo for you to control? Man, that would be complicated. Riding a bike, working a drone, AND chewing bubble gum... what coordination!
I love these! I followed Baja as you released them but like many others, I think I'll go watch them all again! On a tech note, how does the Mavic Pro compare to the Air on a ride? I currently have the Pro but was wondering if getting the Air would be better. Is the size and weight difference noticeable? Either way, I can't wait to get out this summer and shoot some rides! Keep up the great work buddy and stay safe!
Ryan, Awesome drone shots as always, really captures the beauty of nature. Question, how do you supply enough power for the drone, video cameras and a bike computer? Do you use a hub dynamo or solar power packs?
I bring 4 drone batteries with me, and charge them up whenever I'm in a town, solar the small solar setups aren;t powerful enough to charge drone batteries
Thank you Ryan for this footage of beautiful nature Which resolution and fps are you using while you recording? Maybe I am boring, but can you make some extra video about costs of your trip, food, water, homemade tortillas, total cost etc... Thanks in advance

I'll say it again, how you manage to ride your bike and control the drone at the same time is amazing!

Yeah, Cortez was a real DICK! haha. I agree about the desert cliffs, Baja is a magical piece of land
Thank you Ryan for showing how beautiful this Baja Peninsula is to everyone that wants to visit.
I love BAJA!!!
Thanks for the great video!!! So peaceful, almost spiritual!! Great job!!!
