  • Renowned motorsport journalist Alan Henry interviews Norman Dewis at JD Classics, about his fascinating 1953 Flying Mile World Record in a modified XK120 on the Jabbeke Highway in Belgium.
    In 2013 JD Classics in-house restoration of the Jabbeke Jaguar XK120 took a 'Post-War Racing' Best in Class at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.

    Fine gelnteman, a great charactor, and brave man too! He did so much for Jaguar and never lost his love for them!

    Rest in peace. Norman Dewis passed away 8th of June 2019 at age of 98

    A true motoring legend.
    Loved the story he told about test driving the E type on the newly opened M1.
    The motorway polis eventually caught up with them at Castle Bromwich and asked them to cease....
