    This makes me feel so nostalgic ,I was 8 when this was all going on makes me feel sad what an era , the e type struck my heart as soon as i see it lol nothing has changed I'm almost 70 now ,still get a proud feeling it was British

    Great story!
    Google mapped Coventry to Geneva. 11hr 33min for the journey. That includes rail transport under the Channel, NOT the ferry which takes 4 hours. So he beat today's time by 33 minutes. I reckon you could comfortably take off another two to three hours off his time if that option was available!
