  • This video is part of a series in which Greg explores particular hacks he has developed through years of trial and error. And which can be applied to his total range of handmade lures. While many lure crafters around the world develop their own hacks, it is always a thrill to share, or indeed learn, new and effective techniques.
    Greg has developed a painting stencil which can be constructed with highly complex patterns that are easily repeatable... lure after lure, after lure. Using materials which are readily available - a necessity in Africa - Greg develops tough, long-lasting and highly malleable stencils - which although moulded off one particular lure - can be used to paint the same patterns over a range of different lure sizes and designs. Follow Greg as he shares this quick and simple DIY hack.

    When using the clay method do you still have to use a release agent such as cooking oil like when using glossy photo paper?

    • @buddsbaits8208
      @buddsbaits8208 Год назад

      Yes a release agent is necessary using clay or resin.

    Fabulous, as usual, Greg. I haven't seen anything like your stencil process on the other lure-making channels. Thanks so much, Chris

    you make some really nice baits . this is roughly how i do my stencils, ruclips.net/video/r5aMnCBGZ6I/видео.html . i make a box with loads of holes and then a hole in the side so i can put the vacuum cleaner hose in . but the video gives you a rough idea of how it works .
