I'm super suprised you enjoyed almost everything!! Was prepared for some brutal criticism (like with the liquorice, but that was expected 😂) Funny thing is I don't eat liquorice either, I buy the bags and pick out all the non-liqourice ones and throw away the rest 😂

I'm the biggest fan of liquorice!! Could eat a whole bag with only that. Yummy in my tummy! I can even crave it some days.
I usually put the liquorice ring together with the fruit rings, match made in heaven!
I also work in Sweden often and always bring loads of marabou home. The orange is my favourite.
Yeah, in Sweden Marabou, Dumle and Daim is THE $H|T so to speak.

Hello Matt & Emma. I am a Swedich man and first i must say i realy like your video and i like Swedich candy. I wold like to schare with you and the rest of the wievers 3 tipp.
* First and one om my absoulte favorite candy is Marabou 200gr chocolate with Daim chunks inside, i relay think you shold love it Matt
* The Smach candy bar i have not tried!! but there is this Smach bag with the same taste but its formed like cones, love them (keep the bag litle chilld)
* Pigall, PIGALL, i wave loved them sens i was young, now i feel they are litle too swet but keep them i fridge, not good warm.
Next time you cold try the bar Skotte from Marabou (also keep it colud, in fridge), its a litle darker choklate with raisins inside.

"If it's licorice I'm gonna kick off" my fave comment lol I feel the same with licorice!! Those round thin chocolate sweets reminded me straight away of Cadbury snaps (chocolate pringles lol). Cadbury snaps were my fave, I wish they would bring them back!!

There is an even more liqurice one called 'salmiak' no salt on it but strong salty taste. LOVE it! Arrac is like 'punch' swedish liqour

It's always fun to watch people eat Swedish Candy. We have the perfect range of the best in the world (personally) and the worst. Too bad there wasn't more liquorice. Liquorice is my go to candy (plus often less calories).
I agree. Smash is an absolute maniac. Chocolate covered Bugles if you get them in the original bag! Delicious!
Arrak is a kind of rum flavour, or Punsch, but there's no actual alcohol in it. It's pretty popular in Fika snacks like "punschrullar, aka dammsugare" and some chocolate balls. I went to bakery school in Sweden. ;)
Oh and the crisps in the Smash Bar are Bugles.

Gott och blandat is a v clever name, as it literally means yummy and mixed, the phrase is used for "a bit of this and that", just like the sweets themselves!
You can get those Pringle shaped chocolates in Aldi! I think they’re called ‘waves’ now and they have orange, mint and some others😺

Arrack is a kind of liquor used in traditional sweets. It's originally from Indonesia and integral in Swedish punsch which is a weird taste in and of itself! :D
Yes!! In Indonesia they have a cocktail called Arak Brem, and we wondered if they were the same.. turns out they must be! X

In Sweden Pigall is considered the chocolate choice for old men. Smash is from Norway and contains what you might call bugles

I think the Scandinavians obsession with salt licorice comes from generations feed by salted herrings. But the saltiest i tried by far is the Icelandic licorice.
She should have replaced "Goding" with Gifflar which is a better and original version of that kind of treat. Matt could have some Swedish or Norwegian blood in him left during the Viking-era :D 🤣

I’ve tasted both english (brittish?) winegum and swedish (Scandinavian) winegum, and they are actually very different.
Licorice is the sort of thing that you love or you hate. It is very common that we eat Gott och Blandat and in the end there is only licorice left in the bag.
We have the guylian chocolate here in Sweden too ☺️
There’s only one thing I’d change if I was there because when it came to the gått & blandat if you’re new to liquorice you need tho start with the honey comb shaped ones

Hahahaha I'm a swede and Scandinavia In general actually love salty liquorice. I don't know why. I do get why some people aren't fond of it to. We all have different pallets. To me all the Pollys tast the same. Boring vanilla and that's about it. I was so surprised when you said it tasted like pure alcohol.

Salt licorice contains about 70 grams of ammonia per kilogram. According to an EU proposal presented in the spring of 2012, the maximum limit for salmiak in food would be lowered to 3 grams per kilo, which would mean a ban on salt licorice. Food companies, confectionery manufacturers and industry organizations in the Nordic countries have protested against the proposal and in the autumn of 2012 an exception was introduced for salt licorice. Salt licorice will therefore be allowed to remain.

Daim is best a bit cold just taken out of the refrigerator it is sooo good then. If it has not bin cold i cant stand them weird. Polly we have a Red bag of those witch all taste good. That one is more like a old person version of them.

Ehm alghrens bilar (cars) do taste differently. If not because of taste extracts then because of the colouring. I am doin blind tests everytime I eat them and I always get them right. The white one is my least favourute cause it tastes minty almost like toothpaste and I love the pink one it's like strawberry and the green is just kinda good. Idk what they're supposed to taste like byt u can definitely feel a difference and my friends too, almost everyone ehh

12:50 The manufacturer did not "came out" with that. They even say on their web page that it's a secret (which helps sales). However, a lot of people can distinguish between them in a "blind test", which should tell us something :D
and about the same amount of people could not taste the difference so it might just be a pure coincidence.
@@Templarofsteel88 No, there is no logic in what you state. Myself as well as many others can taste the difference without ever making a mistake. That's actually a proof (in the right sense of the word) that they are different. The pink one has a strange taste that I cannot really name, but the green is apple/pear-fruity and the white is minty.
