ICA is the biggest and most popular supermarket chain in Sweden. So basically “ICA” is ICAs own brand, which means cheaper products with the same quality as the brand leading products ☺️ (although some are better than others😂 but that’s the idea)
So many comments about ICA branded stuff. Might be true when comes to other products, but for packaged lemon sponge cake and chocolate muffins, what are the so called brand leading companies?
@@snowyfall753 The comment was general about ICAs own line of products. Not EVERYTHING has to have a counter part but many things do, like Heinz ketchup, Kelloggs Frosties , Zeta olive oils etc. Then there’s the Swedish brand leading companies like Arla, Kungsörnen, Felix etc, which ICA often have a cheaper alternative to as well. Awesome video. For us in Sweden, candy isn't always about being sweet. It is about tickling the palate in different ways, hence you go between sweet, sour and salty (hence much of the salty candy). Also you want to some to be crunchy/crispy, some to be soft and others to be chewy! So it is always an adventure of flavours and textures. Hence the difference in candy culture. Swede's are some of the highest consumers of candy per capita, and we take it very seriously! You will also notice how many things will switch flavour whilst you eat it. For example, some will start very salty, but once you get passed that it switches to sweet (and vice-versa). Let me know if there's something particular you would like to try and I will get it for you!
I'm so excited every time you guys upload a new video! I love your channel! I have been here since "in the kitchen with Kate" and it's still one of my favorite channels!! ❤🙌🏻

Hi Alex and Kate 😀. What a fun box and great video, as always. The green candy or sweet 😁 is nut makes sense since usually anything pistachio nut flavored is green. 🥰
There's thousands of candy flavors in Sweden since we have the pick & mix sweets concept that it truly makes it difficult to even try them all. We all grow up with different experiences when it comes to candy and it slightly alters the Swedish population's sweets preference. If you were to ask the top 5 favorites of random people on the streets, without them talking to each other, I don't think you would get the same answers.
