I have had the milk chocolate and hazelnut, and the dark chocolate Prince Polo bars. They're so light and airy, yet rich at the same time. I just found a local store with all kinds of European and Australian foods!! #EuropeanFoodClub
Fun fact... The Celestial seasons tea is made here in Colorado, they do fun factory tours. Also for Alex, we have the Coors beer brewery that does fun tours and Anheuser Bush/ Budweiser brewery and tours all here in northern Colorado. I say come to Colorado and do some fun beverage adventures.
Prince Polo wafer is Polish:) Is produced since 1955 in Cieszyn, Poland. It is very popular in Russia , Czech Republic and Slovakia. but the major fan of PP is Icelandic president Grimsson. In Poland you can get PP in many flavour and sizes, there is dark, milk chocolate, hazelnut and coconut. And fun fact, You've tried PP already in Polish box:)) Love from Bydgoszcz, Poland:))
Wow ... what an amazing box and so much fun to watch. Now I want some of that Celestial Peach Tea ... I'm off to the store tomorrow. I'm originally from Connecticut but I live in California now, and I used to live very near Deep River, Connecticut, love their chips and just recently after almost 8 years found them at a little Italian Deli locally, I was so excited I almost screamed out loud. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Kate and Alex, Celestial Seasonings is not a supermarket brand. They have been around since 1969. I think of them as being Hippy Dippy teas. They make Herbal teas, Sleepy Time teas, Green teas and Holiday teas. My sister used to have at least 10 different Celestial Seasoning teas on her shelf. They probably have 100 different ones. Check out their website.
Ahh thank you Jody! 🥰 oh wow. That’s so cool your sister had 10 different flavours 😍😍 tea at hers must have been great! WOAH! Will definitely be checking out their website. Thank you
I absolutely love salt & vinegar kettle chips, Tim's in particular & as an American I definitely agree that they're not really a party staple here. I remember giving my dad one to try who is a chip fanatic & he said "it tastes like a waste of perfectly good potato chip" however, he couldn't stop eating them. A good friend of mine gets the salted vinegar & jalapeño which I also enjoy but she'd stack one of each together & eat them like that. It's surprisingly good.
Celestial Seasonings is a Colorado brand (my state!). They have many flavors and during Christmas time they have several flavors ~ Sugar Cookie being my favorite.
That was a good box. I really enjoy the Deep River chips. And I also enjoy the mini Charleston Chews. I prefer my tea iced so I really like the peach iced tea with a little sugar. Have a good week.
Celestial Seasons tea company is located in my home state of Colorado. You can tour their factory, which is a lot of fun. They carry so many flavors at the factory that they don't sell in the stores. Interesting fact, Celestial Seasons basically started the herbal tea industry. I loved watching you try the teas. Maybe I'll send you just a box of teas to sample.
I’ve recently come across your channel and from the videos I’ve seen you two are the absolute sweetest. You’re both so genuinely nice it’s refreshing. Thanks for the lovely video
The Russian drink is pronounced as k-vas. Although definitely an acquired taste, a childhood favorite. Zefir (chocolate marshmallows) is one of my favorite childhood treats. As for the walnut cookies... mmmmmm..yum. And the gingerbread cookie is absolutely perfect for dipping into tea!! New subscriber here 😊 love your videos!
I was just thinking and hoping to see a different country for this week's video of trying new snacks. I love seeing American boxes but getting a little bored with them. This week's video didn't disappoint with America and Russia in one box. Wow, now that was an epic box. Everything looked great especially the chips/crisps and the chocolate marshmallow sweet all looked delicious.
Hey there, love your channel. One way you prevent foamy drinks from overflowing like that is by chilling them first. Dr. Pepper, sprite, root beer but it seems to only be an issue if it's bottled. That drink would be amazing for boiling bratwurst before throwing them on the grill to get a good snap.
Not having the best day and I admit still pouting about it when I saw you two had a video up!!Mood vastly improved. I remember Charleston Chews when we , my brother and I, were kids and often got these. Me ,all for chocolate but I did really like the strawberry one. Have not had one in YEARS. I should get one. I generally stick with M&Ms. As always, loved the video. 😁
So glad our video could help change your mood Denise, sorry to hear you weren't having the best day! Hope the week improved for you ❤️You should definitely get one to bring back memories 😀Thank you Denise!!
Celestial can be picked up at local grocery stores like Kroger. I currently have at least 6 flavors in my kitchen. Funny how earlier in the video, I was just wondering if you've ever tried Celestial and started imagining having the money to send some. Then, voila! I think my favorite is the peppermint flavor with a bit of milk and sugar (the country peach used to be my go-to, but it seems like many of these teas lose their impact the more you drink them). They have a orange one that will give you all your Vitamin C for the day (and then some) with just one bag. Gave some to my brother and it cleared his sinuses right up (despite him only drinking a little bit because him found the flavor "weird")...
Kvass is a malted rye bread fermented drink. Think of a dark rye kombucha. It is slightly alcoholic (less than 1%) and is ancient. It’s commonly consumed in Russia in the summer as a less sweet fizzy drink, but also used as a base for a summer cold soup called “okroshka” that also contains chopped root veggies and smoked meats. In a properly made Kvass there should be no added color or carbon dioxide, but it also has to be stored in a proper bottle that can withstand the extra CO2 made by the fermentation in storage. Also, I could easily destroy a box of those walnut biscuits in one sitting, if unchecked. They are my childhood favorite, along with a chocolate fudge pastry called “chocolate potato”.
What a great box, you lucky pair! Those walnut cookies - I’m drooling! I tried to make peach tea this summer and did what you did Kate - my water bottle collapsed from the middle, I just couldn’t grasp at first what had happened! I just didn’t think about it not being able to stand hot water. Ended up using my glass teapot which I was too lazy to get out the cupboard in the first place!
Very lucky. This was such a great box 😍😍😍 hahaha I’m so glad to hear I’m not the only one to have done this. It’s so confusing at first isn’t it 😂😂 that’s awesome you have a glass teapot!!
When I was a kid, Stop & Shop was the only grocery store in my hometown. In the late 1990s, Big Y opened a location, and then in the 2010s Wal*Mart (which opened location here in the late 1990s) became a Wal*Mart Supercenter.
@@ThisWithThem They are both chains that are mainly just in the Northeastern US. They both started in Massachusetts. Stop & Shop in 1917, Big Y in 1936.
The name of the soft Russian drink is "kvaass" (there's no consonant between the K and the V). And yes, it's absolutely a bread drink, and while the bread does ferment in order for the drink to mature into its bittersweet taste - it never really becomes alcoholic. The chocolate coated marshmallow is called "zefeer" or, rather, pronounced that way. Sorry to correct another fan, but I, too, was born in former USSR and left it an 18.5 years of age. The treats that the sisters picked for you, guys, are fantastic, though! I, too, love all of these.
Such an interesting drink. It was so cool getting to try it 😍 No, thank you for correcting!! So pleased you love all of the treats they picked out for us!
I think you did the Cheddar & Parmesan Cheez-It Duos before. I love those. Tazo tea used to be owned by Starbucks, but they sold it a few years ago. Also, items labelled as "white chocolate" (at least in the US) have to be mostly cocoa butter, which many people don't like because it reminds them of sunblock/tanning cream and cosmetics that use it, so most such items are more vanilla-flavored sugar with other fats (with maybe a small amount of cocoa butter) called "white fudge" or just "white" in the name w/o using the term "white chocolate."
Albanese are the best gummies ever. But the shapes actually change the texture. The bears are nice and soft, the worms are chewier, and the butterflies are the softest. Watermelon in the Albanese packages is the light blue color.
Enjoyed watching this! Have tried Celestial Seasonings before but my parents and I love Bigelow since they come in individual packages inside the box to stay fresher longer and have had Tazo tea before too. Love coffee anything. I laughed at Kate when she said she didn’t use a heat resistant cup.
Celestial Seasonings have over 50 various flavors or combination of flavors in their teas. Some are combined to specifically help with sleep and various other ailments. You can Google their website and see their various products. I’ve always loved their fruit blends. I love all of your videos. I bought the two new Oreo flavors from one of your videos and we absolutely loved them both. I think the peanut butter/chocolate with Graham cookie was my favorite of the two
That is so amazing. Love that they have a massive variety! Definitely going to check out their website. Thank you Deanna 😀 Ahh no way! So glad you loved them 🥰
That looked like a great box👍🏻. Dan Sheekoz , on their Utube channel takes you to a Russian grocery store if you’d be interested. They’re probably knackered today because Suzy gave birth to their first child two days ago. Poor Dan wasn’t allowed in because of bloody covid so he got to hang out with over 6000 subscribers to help keep his spirits up.🙋🏼

Awesome video! Such great snacks from Russia and US. I haven’t tried the alpine yodels but my brother did and told me they were delicious! Those walnut cookies look soooo good! It kinda reminds me of the peach looking cookies that are made in Croatia. They are soooo delicious and a fave of mine growing up and as an adult.

Oh my goodness I have to try the dill pickle Doritos!! 😍 Never seen those but will be on the look out. I prefer salt and vinegar chips over a cheddar or bbq flavor any day. Awesome box, ladies!!
What a fab box! How interesting too. Russian snacks are great. I've been lucky enough to have some but think the Prince Polo is Polish. Those walnut cakes looked so unusual. Love the sense of fun you guys always bring 🙂🙂🙂🙂
Kate & Alex, I'm a baker & I would love to send you some of my homemade cookies & treats. Is that possible? Side not, my cookies (biscuits) are slightly crisp on edge & soft /chewy in the middle. Snickerdoodle, Sugar, Peppermint, Red Velvet & Chocolate chip cookies & Apple Caramel cake
Great video celestial teas is not a supermarket brand and their teas are amazing. I will have to look for those pickle Doritos they sound good. Always look forward to your videos . Have a safe and happy week💕🦋
They were soo delicious 😋 wish we could get them here!! Definitely look out for them. They were amazing and such a good flavour. Thank you Donna. Have a fabulous rest of your week 💕
What an incredible box!!! So excited to find those Doritos pickle chips!! 🤯 but wow, they did an amazing job putting together such a great one for you guys!! So sorry about your water bottle! I think we’ve all been there with something like that a time or two in our lives! 🤣 I know I have! More than I’d like to admit probably 🙊🤣 cheers to you both and wishing you such a beautiful week ahead! ❤️❤️😘
Alex and Kate, I love your videos. All those sweets and snacks look yummy. Celestial Seasonings is one of my favorites... the Peach especially. I use it for iced tea. The Tazo Orange is also delicious hot, especially left to steep with a cinnamon stick, then completed with a bit of local honey. Mmmmm 😋
Hello guys! Excellent video as always. Hope I can get a British candy box for my bday. Cheers and hugs from Mexico. Have you already get the chips I told you two videos ago? Btw, I love when Alex pronounces tortilla, he says it fine.
Alex's hair grew so quick. Back when I was younger I had to get a haircut every 2 weeks because my hair would grow 3 inches (~7.5cm) every month. Now that I am a bit older and actually trying to grow it out it only grows about 1.5 inches (3.8cm) each month.
TWO COUNTREIS IN ONE BOX you already had this more often as you imagined yourself since many Candy and Bakery Companies in Europe are producing and selling their products all over the place under the brand names or through other sellers like MANER(L) from Austria , Ferrero form Italy or Suchard and Nestlé from Switzerland
Those Russian treats seemed to all be really good. I did the Snack Crate subscription for a year and hated almost everything they sent in their Russian box, but maybe was just the selection. Curious if you guys have opened up to get more boxes yet? I know a few videos ago you said it wasn't, but there's a load of new stuff coming out in the US that I wanted to send your way.
They were so delicious 😋 oh no!! That’s such a shame they weren’t good! Yeah must have just been the selection that was sent. We aren’t currently accepting boxes atm but we will be at some point soon! If you don’t mind waiting we would love a box when we open our address again? 🥰 thank you so much for wanting to send us one!
We have had our mum on a few times. We need to get her back on! Dad is camera shy but has promised he would be on a video if we hit 1 millions subs 😂 so get everyone to start subbing! Haha
18NOV22: I am guessing you looked it up, Kavass is essentially a low alcohol "farmhouse beer." I had heard they had been making a soda flavor of it. I hope it was tasty!
I got a laugh out of the cup story. It reminds me of the time I put a cup like that in the dishwasher and when it was done I went to grab it but it was half the size and not even recognizable.
Hi Alex and Kate! Wow! That was a fabulous box. Alot of great treats. I love Albenese gummy bears. Now I have to get the gummy worms! I also buy the little Charleston Chews all the time. They are my favorite candy. We don't have Stop and Shop here in Maryland. We have Giant which is the same company. I hope you have a great week. Alex never cut your hair.
Hey Kirsten! 😀 so many delicious goodies in this box. Definitely but the gummy worms. They were sooo good!!! 😍😍 I think I now prefer the mini Charleston chews over the normal ones! Hope you have have a wonderful rest of your weekend

Oh my goodness I have to try the dill pickle Doritos!! 😍 Never seen those but will be on the look out. I prefer salt and vinegar chips over a cheddar or bbq flavor any day. Awesome box, ladies!!
They were seriously INSANE!! Hope you can find them and enjoy them! As you like S&V I feel like you would really like them!!
@@ThisWithThem 🤗
We have the Celestial teas in Canada as well and I think my favourite is apple cinnamon. It’s amazing.
Mmm yum! What a great tea flavour
Bengal Spice all the way!
What a fab box! How interesting too. Russian snacks are great. I've been lucky enough to have some but think the Prince Polo is Polish. Those walnut cakes looked so unusual. Love the sense of fun you guys always bring 🙂🙂🙂🙂
Love the dill pickle Doritos! Found them at a gas station in Dec and LOVED thembut haven’t seen them since ! 😭
I’ve been to a Stop & Shop when I was in Long Island, NY a couple years ago. It’s actually a sister store of a local chain here in PA called Giant. 🙂
My favorite Celestial Seasonings tea is Apple Cinnamon and Honey Vanilla Chamomile
Charlton chews are better frozen then they are at room temp
Kate & Alex, I'm a baker & I would love to send you some of my homemade cookies & treats. Is that possible? Side not, my cookies (biscuits) are slightly crisp on edge & soft /chewy in the middle. Snickerdoodle, Sugar, Peppermint, Red Velvet & Chocolate chip cookies & Apple Caramel cake
Amazing box but admit it, Kate - you're treat of the week is the ziplock bags :)
Mmmmm 😋
Thank you Susan! So glad you enjoy them 🥰 the peach was insane 😍 oh wow. Great should with the cinnamon stick!
With the iced tea, you add ice cubes, I assume, which increases the water content, thus further diluting the flavour as they melt!
ah yes!! Good point!
They have ketchup doritos in canada if you ever get a chance you should crust chicken in crushed up doritos
They're so delicious
Aloha from Critical Eats Japan.😎🤙
Caramel made from sweetened condensed milk is known as dulce de leche in South America & Mexico
The walnut cookies are my favorites and taste like alfajores.
Thank you Julie
Hello guys! Excellent video as always. Hope I can get a British candy box for my bday. Cheers and hugs from Mexico.
Have you already get the chips I told you two videos ago? Btw, I love when Alex pronounces tortilla, he says it fine.
we can buy celestial tea in Canada too.
What an awesome video ❤️😘
Thank you Grace 🥰♥️
Alex's hair grew so quick. Back when I was younger I had to get a haircut every 2 weeks because my hair would grow 3 inches (~7.5cm) every month. Now that I am a bit older and actually trying to grow it out it only grows about 1.5 inches (3.8cm) each month.
Woah!!! You had some great hair genes! Always the way when you want to grow it. Slows down doesn’t it!!
amazing 🥰
Anyone else find yourself yelling at Alex to get closeup and he never fails and does?
😂😂😂
I love your tea when ever I come to the uk I stock up on tea I love tea fruit flavored tea
Ah yaay!! Glad you do !
You should have your mom or dad on sometime. I would love to see their reaction.
We have had our mum on a few times. We need to get her back on! Dad is camera shy but has promised he would be on a video if we hit 1 millions subs 😂 so get everyone to start subbing! Haha
18NOV22: I am guessing you looked it up, Kavass is essentially a low alcohol
"farmhouse beer." I had heard they had been making a soda flavor of it. I hope it was tasty!
I got a laugh out of the cup story. It reminds me of the time I put a cup like that in the dishwasher and when it was done I went to grab it but it was half the size and not even recognizable.
Hahaha that’s amazing 😂😂😂
The cookie walnuts look like Persian dried limes lol . Have you tried Persian dried limes ? Another Awesome Video :)
Haha no we haven’t 😂
Thank you
Pepper? Spicy? Huhhhhh? Lol
Haha I don’t do too well with spice but they were definitely a little spicy 🤣
I LOVE YOU GUYS
We love you too!!
My dad does the exact same thing with pepper!! It must be a dad thing!
Raspberry Zinger is my fav. of that brand.
