Vintage Citizen Seven Star V2 Automatic Watch Service

Beautiful Citizen Seven Star V2 from the late 70s, self-winding movement caliber 7290, 40 mm steel case without crown. The watch arrived working but with low amplitude. After the service the watch started working well again with acceptable parameters, accuracy about 5 seconds a day. The very scratched watchcase has been polished and is like new again, the same for the caseback. I mounted a steel bracelet from the same era. Watch that comes right into my collection!!!

A lovely watch, especially the dial. Why was the lift angle 52 at the start but 48 when you reassembled it?

At first I didn't set the timegrapher with the right lift angle, because I didn't know what it was yet, I just wanted to see approximately how the watch worked. After the service I went to check what was the exact lift angle for this calibre, which is 48 degrees to be sure that the watch worked well. At first the timegrapher marked amplitude 173 but in truth with the right lift angle it would have been less, maybe 140, the watch was almost dead.....
