      Sensei, you need to go for the legs more. Seems like you were only trying Judo throws during the freestyle rather than single legs or double legs.

    I think an explanation of the rules is definitely nice. You can always just do a thing where you give people a time stamp if they wanna skip to the action.

      At that weight, everything hurts you, man! He just taps you in the fact and he can KO you. I spar with gus 230, 240 and I am 160. It is brutal. They are being nice with me too.

    I enjoy the style of Seths videos. I feel like he has a good balance between explaining the stuff that needs to be explained without over explaining the things. However i also think your breakdowns of the sparring sessions are great, cause you explain the important stuff right along side the why and how this was setup and stuff.
    Also yeah more behind the scenes are always fun to watch and interesting. Also love how you try to learn from every person you spar with and try new things

    Jeff, I gotta say, that going against a MUCH larger opponent definitely highlighted your skills! I do think Seth was trying not to hurt you accidentally though... LOL... Dude outweighs you by almost 100 lbs. LOL

    My two faves as part of the comp out in Australia. Both bring different forms of expansive knowledge, with a lot of a taste for more learning... and both humble with healthy egos. Chubby surprise vs shredded steel

    Speaking for those of us that are not sumo wrestlers, seeing the rules would be cool. Your technical breakdowns are very informative, your explanations are direct and I don't think it would come off as long winded.

    You only started appearing on my feed after episode one of Rokas' Self Defence Challenge but I'd say, yes, you should include more bts stuff. You are hanging out with a bunch of interesting and Funny people, it'd be nice to see more of your interactions with each other.
    The good thing about Sensei Seth's videos is that usually he makes me laugh while entertaining and sometimes teaching me something, same for Icy Mike, even though their sense of humour comes across as different. If a video actually makes me lol I give it an automatic thumbs up.

    I always liked that youre more of a fighter then a youtuber vs how these other martial arts channels make content, so I would just stick to ur own style but do whatever makes you happy!

      That is the nice things about the collabs: you start from the same material but each party can post their own take and editing as they like. It doesn't have to be like that for every collab event, though.

    Man, Seth movement speed is amazing, i know a guy who is 120kg and can move like that or even quicker because he do dope things like 540 kicks too, i call this guy father haha. I guess those giants can move like that because they were doing agility based martial arts since they were little kids, they would not learn it now but the muscle memory from early days build the movement. Also, i like the commentary a lot i'm kind of a martial nerd too so...maybe people don't like as much but i would love to see a bit more.

    Awesome as always, wish I could move like you. Seeing seth move so well is very inspiring though as I am 6ft3 and about 230lbs. Trying to get the weight down though because I'm probably carrying about 20 to 25 pounds of fat.

    I flipping love the behind the scenes extended dialogue. Sensei Seth does a great job of conveying his passion through words.
    However, i also enjoy the condensed feel of Jeff Chans content. The direct to the point leaves little fat to trim off the bone. Both have their merits.
    Wish i could have.both versions. A condensed version to get me into the subject matter, and an "uncut" or extended version if im really interested in the details.

    Easy for me to say since you have to worry about the algorithm and have to do all the editing but I personally enjoy watching the full length content and listening to it all. I can always do the skipping myself if I need to.

    I would like to see both. Variety is great.
    Some straight up sparring videos (, some techniques tutos like you do sometimes) and some in depth videos with more discussion.
