Evo owners daily these cars at 500hp reliably for many years. Here's The simple recipe: (From a single owner, 06 Mitsubishi Evo RS with a 150 k + miles on it) All you need is brakes tires, coilovers, an alignment, and a STOCK MOTOR!. Don't chase horsepower, the stock motor has enough power if your driving the car like it was designed for and it's reliable. Don't just go straight (because any fool can go straight.) Find some corners and it'll be nothing but smiles. Trust me, I had an ND 1 Miata, but the Evo is still here. I just got a new GR86 and already I want to get rid of it.

It’s a good car back in 2003-2015ish. When other cars started coming with turbos for the same price new as a used Evo it wasn’t a good value anymore. Only people who get them are enthusiasts
