Saw Alvin & band live at a honky tonk called 57 Doors on Cedar Springs Blvd in Dallas circa 1974. Still have the debut album on vinyl!
We used to go see these boys in Arlington, Texas every time they were in town. Always a good time!

My dad used to hang with Alvin and is band at the Ft Worth Stockyards in the 80's.
LOL. I saw them in a cow pasture somewhere near McLean or Groom. I was giving my Cali friend the Texas experience.

KFAT in Gilroy California used to play this regularly.
That's where I first heard it, and you could not buy that record anywhere in California. Luckily, I won a copy from KFAT back then. Drove to Gilroy from Monterey to pick it up.
First heard this in W. Germany, early 1970s.
I only have his first two albums, but i think Junior Brown was on at least one them. Back in the 70's...foggy memories.
