Hi. I found what I'm sharing while visiting a French forum about BMW C-Evolution. That gave an immediate and now obvious meaning to those hooks that are underneath the seat and maybe could be of some use to you... (I still need to find out what is the use for the internal molded part of the right hand front pocket door, I think it is a phone holder or something like that). Please, take a look: cevolution.forumactif.org/t1349-securisation-du-cable-du-chargeur-et-antivol
What a great find and thanks for sharing. I’ve seen people place it under their seat before but never saw where they secured it. Thanks for sharing and will see if it also works with the thickness of a 32 amp cable ..the EVSE in the pictures is a 16amp rated cable I think. Thanks again!
Miguel Ángel González Suárez upon testing the method suggested in the forum, I would probably not recommend it as it forces the cable to be clamped between the seat and body on the sides which bends the seat and places quite high pressure on the side hinges and latch. Just my view but I think it forces things just a bit too much for my liking.
@@mybmwcevolution1415 Many thanks for testing it. I haven't had the opportunity to do so due to being away from my C-Evolution. Please, could you further contribute to this topic answering if the high pressure on the sides of the seat was due to the thickness of your particular cable?. Do you think it will occur with the thinner original charger cable as well?...
Miguel Ángel González Suárez hi - mine is a BMW OEM 32A Type 2 to Type 1 cable for public charging. I mainly use this one. I haven’t tried the OEM wall plug EVSE but am fairly sure it will be the same issue even though it may be slightly thinner than the Type2 to Type1 cable. Hope that helps.
Salut comment régler un problème de charge sur cette moto

Thanks for this, it's more secure and less fiddly than a padlock on the plug.
