Cool Fun Fact: Denzel Curry who’s used anime samples in some of his songs actually did a song for Carole and Tuesday called Lonestar Jazz. Thundercat also sang a song aswell on Carole and Tuesday
That’s Ezekiels song right from Carole and Tuesday( good chill anime btw) and what’s the other
Now it explaines why that is the only good song in that anime. Eery other song from Carole and Tuesday besides this one is shit, and the anime is a 3/10 for me.

This is dope! I knew sampling from songs from other genres of music is kinda a staple in Hip-Hop/Rap, but I never thought about them touching in on anime themes & songs to use. Not once. As fan of both, that’s actually really cool.

Anime inspires a lot. It being sampled doesn't surprise me, and it just proves getting into anime is a worthwhile investment.

Who would have known. The a lot of samples came from early 80s to to mid 90s, just like most songs are sample from the late 70s to early 90s. People put heart and soul into music instrumentation back then
