Love Affair 1994
Warren Beatty & Annette Bening
and Catharine Hepburn playing piano !
I'm still young so I wasn't even born
when the time Katharine was the best ,
now I have some DVD which Katharine acted,
and I miss Katharine so much :/ . . .
R.I.P. Ennio Morricone and Katharine Hepburn. Both of them lived a long life and left behind a legacy that will never be surpassed. Rest in Peace you too.
To say goodbye is the most difficult thing.Love that movie.Great actors.
The look on Annette's face when she was about to say goodbye to Katharine. Its a look that tells us that its the last time she will see her alive and that this is the final goodbye.
Katharine Hepburn's last screen appearance. I just love this scene...
Immortale, eterna.🌷
this iconic scene always makes me cry. one of the most beautiful films i've seen.
It just made me cry, too...remembering my old Mother. Growing old and losing relatives is not easy...
me too
A very sensitive scene, just like the movie as a whole. Beautiful.
Something about this sequence takes my breath away and brings a tear to the eye. Maybe because it's the final theatrical film of Katharine Hepburn, maybe it's the music, maybe it's the way Annette Bening looks at "Ginny," or all the above. Just lovely.
Yea
Unforgettable scene ever...😢
I think it is all of the above and I agree it is simply beautiful!!!
The music, with various instruments, is made with sugar, sugar, and sugar, adding some sugar. And then some. There is no credibility in that amount of the ingredient.
@@vrfvfdcdvgtre2369 I don't want credibility. I want to be moved. Real-life is full of the credible, the incredible as well as the incredulous. This movie and this scene, in particular, allow just a few minutes to be stirred in places within themselves that most people don't get to every day. It's silly and awesome at the same time.
Gawd! I just love this movie..the music speaks to your soul. Thank you Maestro Ennio Morricone! ♥️♥️♥️
This film and the beautiful music, had always been part of my life, my wife , my children, my whole family . Now it's all gone. what's left is some of the fondest memories which I've kept deep in my heart. . Once in awhile, when things are tough, I 'd find my self in this place so I can relive the happy moments we've had. I'm so glad we have seen this movie together
I turned on piano melodies on RUclips, and from the very first rhythms of each of them, my consciousness began to bring to mind the one and only one that my soul was apparently looking for at that moment. And of course I picked it up, this melody, and turned it on...
And so I listen to her, I am 50 years old, tears flow from my eyes, I think about love, which I did not notice in my previous years of life, because I was unable to notice it due to the frivolity of my consciousness. I think about the dignity of the concept of Man, the supreme divinity of his creation, and the boundless beauty of life.
🌷❤️🍀
27 years later and this scene still captures my heart. Beautiful
Such a heartfelt scene this is! Great job to the writer. RIP Katharine Hepburn.
This movie/soundtrack is so moving..
For me, it's what love feels like. Musically, Mr. Morricone is gifted in this composition.
One of the most beautiful films in film-history. Catherine Hepburn is nearly 90 in this guest-appearence. Warren Beatty is a really talented film maker
Katherine
The last screen appearance of Kathrine Hepburn. I come and watch it from time to time and shed a tear for the great lady. She was one of a kind. YOU have to love Kate
The BEST and The most soul touching romance movie ever! And Ennio Morricone's heavenly composition made this movie perfect! this movie with its soundtrack never fails to make tears in my eyes,every-time! Goose bumps and heartfelt performances to all characters!Such eloquent acting and direction!Superb in so many ways! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS MOVIE AND MAKING ME EXPERIENCE THIS ART IN MY LIFETIME!!
I resisted seeing this firm for a long time, when it came out, because I was such a fan of "An Affair to Remember", and didn't see how a remake would do the original justice. But this was a very moving film in its own right, and Hepburn's performance alone was worth the price of admission.
The original was the 1939 version with Irene Dunne and Charles Boyer. . . 1957 was the remake
I didnt know that there were actually 3 movies of this story All great in their own way
RIP Ennio Morricone and thank you for this beautiful music. You will be missed dearly :)
...beautiful heavenly music 💎
despite the fact ms. benning has not yet won an oscar, i think this moment in her life is priceless, sharing this scene with the great ms. hepburn if worth more the oscar, golden globe or any prestigious accolade one can recieve. for this is the last major film ms. hepburn ever did before her retirement. i love you ms. Hepburn
Adore this scene. So moving and visually beautiful.
Sweet. Warren wooed and begged Kate the Great to do this scene and I'm glad he did. A very sweet finale to her long and celebrated film career. I only wish I could have given her a hug like Annette did in this scene. There are no actresses to replace her.
This move was amazing. I had it on VHS and later DVD. This was the best scene of the movie. Katherine melted my heart. You could feel the weight of their goodbye. Very emotional. All of that wisdom spoken in the scene before this one, and then this one...too much to contain.
I’m still crying every time I watch this….as I did throughout most of the movie. Beautiful film.❤
It's amazing, in this her last feature, that Hepburn was able to make the film worthy of some distinction, even if the rest of the film panned. That's an actress for you, and that's a legend no one can surpass, not even Streep. And, even after leaving the stage and screen, Hepburn held on until June of 2003, prolonging a legacy left unmatched.
Love the dress, love the music, love the scenery.. love everything.
This movie is awesome, I never forgot it when I watched it back in 94. I almost cried. I have to find it.
Katharine Hepburn's final screen appearance is a treasure to behold. Nothing against Annette Bening, but the film doesn't really have heart until Kate enters. And, unlike what Beatty wanted, people saw Love Affair to see Kate, not him. Poignant, honest, and strong. I miss Kate so much. It helps to know she is my guardian angel.
One of my favorite scenes from this beautiful movie. The music and the atmosphere along with the dynamics of their new relationship is just mesmerizing.
The music will really touch your heart ♥️ So beautiful!👏👏👏👏
This movie's ost touch my heart and brings me my most beautiful positively heartbreaking memory.
Love this remake.
Watched all three versions.
This is my favorite!!!
One of the Greatest Movie of All Time!
My all time favorite. If you are meant to be with someone, no matter what, you are meant to be. That's what you call destiny.
I didn't know this movie was done three times! I watched the 1930 version on the TV but didn't finish it. Then I completed the 1957 one without realizing that it was the same one! Now here I am just discovering this 1994 rendition!
ONE OF THE BEST LOVE MOVIE EVER MADE..
AND THE MUSIC........OBAAAA
This is the kind of recommendable movie. If you are ready to fall so desperately in love with someone who's considered by you. I'm gonna share this piece with my beloved tonight.
cinematography at its best...the score is heavenly..
I really love this movie..touch my heart and soul...very beautiful and LOVE was there..
Beatty is a legend and so as Benning performance here is great... But this particular scene with Ms. Hepburn for me is the highlight of the movie... I love her...
THANKS SO MUCH. My Best Scene In the Movie. Incredible Song and Amazing Splendor and Beauty of The Horses in Tahiti! I Dunno If I’ve Ever Seen Such a Tranquil Beautiful Scene In a Movie. Blessings To You For Your Post and Appreciation of that Entire Scene. I Fell In Love with Horses From that Scene. It Really Shows The Beauty of Those Majestic Beings.
Obviously, I Really Didn’t Need to Mention that Beatty is a Talent Powerhouse Genius Filmmaker. An Actor and Filmmaker I Truly Admire. Didn’t Want to Leave Out The Obvious and Benning is Incredible Too. Bought this On Digital and That Is a Blessing. Good Things Usually Do a FLY BY TO MOST UNTIL THEY ARE READY TO SEE THAT BEAUTY IN LIFE.
One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Thank you.
The most touching part .... love this too much
THIS MOVIE MOVED ME ,, REMINDS ME ABOUT FALLING IN LOVE AND HOPE, I LOVE THIS MOVIE A LOT
I love this movie, it came out when I was at a low lonley point in my life, my girl friend left me and my two boys during Christmas because she couldn't deal with their tantrums . When I put them to bed, I sat down andwatched this movie, I was not into chick movies till that being a man, but I got drunk and wstched this movie and have loved it ever since. I try to watch it every year, and enjoy this movie, I eventually brought her back and we watch this movie together.
Love it
You shouldn't have brought her back. You deserve better than this
@@irenegml8967 they got a second chance... it´s beauttiful .
@@angc1456 She left him in a difficult situation. Who tells him that she won't do the same given the chance? I don't want to destroy his family but she is not to be trusted.
@@irenegml8967 everyone deserve a second chance
Oh, I love this film so much! I read on Wikipedia that the film got bad critics and rotten tomatoes, and a price for the worst remake (of a film from 1939). I don't understand this at all. I don't care about the "remake" because I think this film is a piece of art in itself. Warren Beatty has done a fantastic job. Katharine Hepburn was 86 years and acting as faboulus as ever (she won 4 Oscars in her time). Wonderful film!
Completely agree with you! One of my favorite movies ever!
louisalit : one of my favorite love stories too... I agree with you about the characters of the movie... they were all great 👍🏻 especially Annette Benning, she looked so elegant with that white dress
judging by all the positive comments on youtube videos of this movie, the critics were WRONG :)
I love this movie. Katherine Hepburn was a legend, I loved her in her final movie.
This Morricone classic blows me away and brings me lots of childhood memories. Hepburn is fantastic, the same with Beatty and Bening.
i don't know. i have never watch the movie before but after i watched this and music, i have tear in my eyes.
This movie and music so touching me deep in my heart❤
I like this version better I cry everytime I watch this..I know how it feels to love someone and have a disability😢😢😢
Such a wonderful and memorable movie!
One of the most beautiful touching scenes ever on screen
Legendary actors are now hard to come by. Katharine Hepburn, R.I.P.
There is something about this movie… music, actors, voice, eyes.. or all together. Story itself can be cliché but every time i see this movie or listen to the music i feel like cry and melancholy
I really enjoyed this film. I think that they had quite a task, considering the Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr version that we all loved. I think that they did a fine job.
The ending of this movie is so great.
...love the angelic complexity of this piece. Spiritual
Kate hepburn still had many years, after this! Shes 87, here but still with a long way to go.
I always play this song whenever I miss my Mama and Grandma who have gone to heaven. I lock my room and cry. ✨
Im so in love with this Movie.
We miss you Ennio Morricone and we also miss Katharine Hepburn ...
Full of Love for Katharine Hepburn (1907-2003) legend of American Movies! ( Ashgabad-Turkmenistan)
what a beautiful scene.. thanks!
This may be not Kate's last movie, but this was a pretty sentimental scene.
The best love story I've ever watched
the music ... the music. .. oh god ... rip katharine ... listen to the music dude ... damm
best scene and score ever! i love this
LOVED IT!!!
I like Katherine Hepburn, but there's just one and only Love Affair :with Irene Dunne and Charles Boyer from 1938. There does not exist another.
Four time academy award nominee annette bening at her best..style,tone
Katherine had her one true love, and him "Tracey" had that too. This was her dedication to their love, it's easy, but sad to see. I can see why she chose this film. The lines hard, but love is what it is. ;) She'd wait around forever for that true love, and she did.
What? She was suffering from dementia before she appeared in this film, and it was so bad she almost didn't appear. As for "Tracey", if you meant Spencer Tracy, that was an 'affair' that was strictly for publicity purposes.
Adorei o filme e adoro a música. Já tinha visto a versão antiga, igualmente boa.
i shall play this song for the rest of my life, perhaps. i guess. i definitely will
will remember forever.. RIP
melts my heart
Empire State building reminds me of this movie. .I luv it when I go up there & think of the this movie
Oh how I love this movie~
So beautiful ❤❤❤
Scritto naturalmente un GENIO!Ennio Morricone,Grande Maestro!
Don’t really like love Stories that much but this sent tingles up may spine. The theme song ang the various sceneries contributed to all that. 10 stars.
Esse filme é maravilhoso ! a trilha sonora é linda!
Ms. Hepburn is the closest that movies have to royalty. This woman has transcended the screen for 60 years and has left behind a legacy which is impossible to surpass. Although we have great actresses today, like Meryl Streep and Cate Blanchett (to name but two) - it's very hard nowadays to achieve what Hepburn has.
It's like a rock band nowadays hoping to surpass the Beatles :)
Does anyone know if I would be able to get "Love Affair" on a Region 2 DVD? All i find is Region 1...
I miss her too 😔 😢 😪 😞
Katharine Hepburn was an emotional epicentre of this remake
Best movie in my entire life.
Although I liked this film, the Cary Grant/Deborah Kerr version will always be my favorite. Ms. Hepburn tells a funny story in her memoir, "Me", about all that went into taking this role and being asked to swear.
Very nice music video thanks !
beautiful
How beautiful human's love in timeless time? I love you. I love you so much
Last Kate's film scene, beautiful
it's hard to see someone so icon get old its not that being old is bad its just strange! i'll feel the same way when meryl streep gets that age
Academy Award and Golden Globe-winner Warren Beatty ("Down to Earth," "Bulworth") and real-life wife and Academy Award-nominee and Golden Globe-winner Annette Bening ("Being Julia," "American Beauty") star in this remake of the classic love story "An Affair to Remember." Four-time Academy Award and Emmy-winner and Golden Globe-nominee Katharine Hepburn ("On Golden Pond," "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner") returns to the silver screen, joined by Emmy-winner and Golden Globe-nominee Garry Shandling ("Doctor Doolittle," TV's "The Larry Sanders Show"), Kate Capshaw ("The Love Letter," "Just Cause") and Golden Globe-nominee Pierce Brosnan ("The Matador," various James Bond features). Co-written by Beatty and Academy Award and Golden Globe-winner Robert Towne ("Mission Impossible" 1 & 2). Gene Siskel says this movie "stands on the chemistry of Beatty and Bening... they have it in real life, and on the screen they have it too."
Something just hit me,
The love of Music

It wud 've been truly heart- wrenching if they've used "An Affair to Remember" as soundtrack
