The main reason shadow warning is deactivated by default is probably a legacy from film and print photography: when you print a photo, it's very difficult to print true black, which means at the print step, you used to automatically lose everything below a certain threshold of black. The eye is used to that, it's not really a problem, whereas clipping is much more noticeable even to a random person eye.
My capture 1 always add a red fill by default. I mean as soon as I import. I’ve watched so many videos but I’ve not been able to solve. This issue has limit me to Camera raw and Lightroom. Could it be the System or the Camera? Btw I use a canon 700D and Hp Elite book. I would appreciate a response, thanks in anticipation!
