Instagram use a 4X5 aspect ratio. Also, you can use between 1080-1200p long edge. I've also been using 2048p on the long edge without any loss of quality. These steps apply in captureOne or photoshop.

Not really, Capture One does everything i need but I'll try Lightroom out over the next few weeks
hm funny the c1 ai masking tool seems even more sh.....r in you samples than in my own testing. the adobe masking tools in comparison are now so advanced and fast that I can do much more and also rather complex correction in less time than it takes to get a usable simple mask with c1.
