This took me back to a Key West vacation I took many years ago! You brought the tropical vibe and scene back so vividly…I slept well after listening. Thank you SO much, Michelle!
So glad it brought those memories to light-- I spent on of my favourite birthdays there and recall wandering the streets without a goal and thinking how lucky I was to be there.
So excited for this one! while reading the description for the story, pictures of myself appeared in my head of my spring break time in elementary school being spent with my grandparents who are snow birds who live half the year in Ft. Meyers, Florida. I would spend nights falling asleep on the lanai while a warm breeze was being complemented by the soft sound of the palm trees swaying from side to side and would occasionally hear a “jumping” fish splash around in the intercoastal water way in their backyard (I later learned they are called Mullet fish) Thanks for taking me back, michelle;)
How lucky to have snow bird grandparents-- I love those sounds and glad they conjured these memories! I think the sounds are somehow even more soothing when accompanied by an escape from the cold!

With snow having fallen again in the city I live in the province of Quebec it feels nice to go somewhere hotter and devoid of snow.
