The point of breaking the vacuum with nitrogen is to help pull moisture from the system. Nitrogen will absorb moisture. The technical term is triple evac - vacuum, fill with nitro, vacuum, fill with nitro, and then vacuum one last time. I typically won't triple evac unless I have a really stubborn system or I know there was a big leak
Sometimes it's best to put the lid back on it and forgot you seen it. I do it every day. Got a guy I work with/, complains about every one else's work. And how can people think their shit doesn't stink. Anyways... Keep it up RAY
If you watched Ty Branaman's livestream last week he showed there IS in fact some moisture in "supply house" nitrogen. He flipped a tank over and sprayed water out of the valve. He stated that medical grade nitrogen is drier, but regardless. The point was that he was talking about triple evacuation and breaking with nitrogen is like putting moisture back in the lineset only to remove it again. Waste of time and nitrogen.
I would have been so pissed I might have quit, except I know it’s everywhere no matter where you go and I’m old and can’t start over.lol Have a blessed day Ray.
@@billwilliamson3031 you got that right my friend. I've been doing apartment service for 32 years. I may start over on a different property every few years when it gets to be too much. Owners and managers tend to want more appeal and pick the absolute cheapest garbage products made and wonder why they can't keep people there. And us techs get tired of fixing 20+ year old trash.
