Thank you Wendy!
awesome, picked all the stuff up this morning & I'm going to try this tomorrow. I love plantains every way I've ever had them & I just know this will be a great addition to the repertoire, thank you!
I can't wait to hear what you think and what you fill them with! So many delicious possibilities!
@@athomewithshay they were even better than I thought they'd be, I stuffed them with vegan 'scrambled eggs & bacon' along with onions and mushrooms. So much better than flour tortillas, this is going directly into the regular rotation :)
@@mdwc9291 Whoop! Whoop! So happy to hear that you enjoyed them & were easy enough to make. Thank you very much for taking the time to write!
Whoaaaa yesss I’m definitely trying this !!! Thanks for sharing 🌺🌺🌺

Would love to know how to use plantains to make a gluten free pasta with it🌞
Me too! That sounds fascinating!
Hi nice video have you tried dehydrating the plantains after blending?
I haven't! But let me know if you do & how it works out. Baking them in this way takes a lot of the moisture out while leaving them pliable with a bread-like texture. I am curious if dehydrating would make them chewy like a fruit roll up? Keep me posted!
What temperature and how long do you put them in the oven for?
Hi Riley! Here is a link to the recipe athomewithshay.com/plantain-wraps/
Don't think you mentioned what temperature and length of time you baked it for
Hi Nat! Here's a link to the recipe:-) Let me know if you make them! athomewithshay.com/recipe/plantain-wraps/

Can i use another type oil
Dr TeeBird absolutely you can use any type of oil you’d like. Keep in mind that if you use an oil that has a specific flavor (like sesame)... it will change the flavor of the wrap... and that can be an awesome thing for what you are wrapping inside! Let me know what you come up with:-)
At Home With Shay awesome! I love grapeseed or avocado oil! I’ve looked at other wrap recipes! You have the best hands down!! Can’t wait to try!!
Dr TeeBird thank you!
Me ne got stuck on paper
So sorry to hear that! Did you use parchment paper, spray it with oil & use oil in the purée? That should ensure that it doesn’t stick. Check to be sure that you are using parchment paper & not another type. It should be made to be non-stick.
Hey! You can't mix bananas in with other foods! That's blasphemy!
Hi sparkle! These are plantains, the starchier, more savory cousin to the banana. They can be used in lots of fun & delicious ways that bananas can’t. This is one example:-)
