This didnt work for me The mixture stuck to my hands and it stuck to the parchment paper I guess I will go back to my old standby the wheat belly flax wrap recipe
For anyone in the UK it is 2 thirds of a cup of water not 2 to 3 cups. I made it wrong thinking it meant cups and I know someone else who did the exact same as me. Now I have figured out what went wrong I love making a sandwich with this wrap!!! I added half a teaspoon of garlic powder & onion powder in mine this time and they are lovely!!! Thank you for the recipe!!!
I made these wraps tonight using the dark flaxseeds, because that's all i had on hand. I used our regular Ninja Blender to blend them, because we dont have a vitamix, and it took about 10 mins until they were ground up into a flour. I then sifted the flour through a sieve or strainer, to get out any clumps, or in case some of the seeds didn't get ground up. I then followed the recipe exactly as she posted, and they came out perfect. My husband and i loved them! We will be using this recipe again! I think i have found my new favorite wrap! Thank you for all of your encouraging videos! ❤️
I also have the brown ones. I hear they are bitter in comparison to the golden. Have you also tried the golden ones to compare to the brown? Are the brown ones actually bitter?

I used to make something similar a few years ago. I would fill with cheese, tomato, avocado etc then roll up in plastic wrap to keep everything in place, then toast in a sandwich press at work for my lunch. Delicious and nutty flavour when toasted.
@Avie Poll that's an interesting comment. Could you point me to your sources please. Sorry, I'm struggling with what you say as animals get their vitamins and minerals the same place humans do - from plants - unless they are factory farmed where they get fed supplements.
@Avie PollAre you sure? I can clearly remember that a study showed that vegans (who didn't supplement in EPA) had almost as much EPA as omnivorous people. So doctors didn't know what to recommend anymore. To be sure there was no deficiencies, they recommended a supplementation to children, pregnant women and old people. And recently I watched a video with the dr Fuhrman who said that the supplementation was necessary for some people who had difficulties to make EPA and HDA from ALA.
Thank you very much for this recipe. It turned out perfect! I've tried many low carb bread recipes using almond and coconut flour and none taste as good as these!
Your recipes are absolutely amazing I've been gluten free for years with an autoimmune condition and these are just an excellent replacement for chapatis. I find the dough bit sticky to handle so I mix some farari flour in this along with some vegetable pulp from my juicer and it tastes amazing!
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR THIS... i did try to make these, and didn’t succeed like yours , it was too sticky and i had trouble transfering it into the pan it kept on breaking and once in the pan it had holes in it. BUT BUT BUT although i didn’t make it perfect, my family loved it, and they asked why i didn’t make more of it😊 but because it had been such an hassle i didn’t do it again. NOW , with all the explainations that you had, i saw where i was wrong so ill try again. Thank you so much for this . have a great day You’ve got a fan from martinique...😊
Thanks for the great recipe. Its a gold mine for low carbers! ..eating bread again! Fantastic! I have 3 questions: - Did you try reducing the quantity of water a bit to get a firmer dough that can be rolled directly on the counter without the need for parchment paper? - In your blog you said "Turn the heat off and stir immediately with a wooden spoon, until the flaxseed meal absorbs all the water". But in the video you actually did not turn it off until the flaxseed was all wet. So which is better in your experience? - Could you please post the links to those studies you mentioned, made by Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry, the British Journal of Nutrition, and the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition - that have concluded that the Omega-3 fatty acids in flaxseed are resistant to oxidation even when cooked for 60 minutes at 660°F (350°C) ?
I can't wait to make these and use for my breakfast wraps and with some Seasoning in the water to give mines more flavors like any flavors oh yes Thank you again for the update.
Just made these finally, and absolutely love them! I think I made the dough a little too wet, going to have to not fluff my fresh meal so much next time, but I even liked the flavor plain. (Because I couldn't resist munching one while cooking... :D )
Love your recipes! Thank you! I've tried making these but with the brown flaxseed and I want to say the texture once chewed, resembles nopales (cactus). Still delicious though
This was easy to make not easy to handle. Out of 4-5 tries with the same batch only my last one turned out decent. Takes a lot of patience which I was running short on… so moral of my story: experiment away, but be okay with epic failures. lol. Happy cooking out there. 😅

Yes, they can be frozen (all the instructions are in the recipe box on my blog). They last 4-5 days in the fridge. I have never tried making crepes out of flaxseeds, but it might work :)
Thank you. I used your recipe today using dark flaxseed. Came out much better than yesterdays recipe that used 1/2 cup, super fine Almond flour, 2 tablespoons of Psyllium husk, olive oil, salt and water. Awful. Thank you again.
