I was really into Kraftwerk in the eighties and I had German language copies of radioactivity with a bunch of stickers included also man machine and computer world, but my favorite item was a 12 inch glow in the dark trans Europe express with she's a model
Hi Michael….I have The Gifted Ones and love it. I recently bought the Bill Evans Waltz for Debby UQHR on your recommendation and am so glad I did. Sounds amazing on my system. Thank you for all your videos. I am just getting back into vinyl and watching you has really helped fill out my collection. Cheers from Canada!
Hello 😘🤗 Lovely video Michael , Music from my childhood, beautiful music and memories me and my dad’s passion for music and David Bowie of course 😺 My dad passed last Christmas age 91 😘🤗❤️💜❤️ I was born in 1957 🙌
Absolutely! My mistake he was 94 Joined the Navy for a few years! Motorbikes and nature-climbing mountain’s Music and dancing 🕺🏻 smoking a pipe and books! He enjoyed himself! Always interested in everything that’s the secret and finding joy! My mam is 91
Albert King - recorded at the Filmore West. He was the 'house band' with Janis Joplin and, more often than not, Jimi Hendrix. Killer musician and record.
Great thanks!!! Prince Lasha is indeed great. Also loves the new NewJazz Mal Waldron’s the qu’est on OJC. Great sounding. I agree ERC is probably the only label to cut records with a dedicated mono head. Mono head is something special for original monos… as you now know! J from Paris
Flute is still a relatively common instrument in Scandi psychedelic music. I’m thinking of the bands Goat, Centrum, Monokultur etc, wonderful records, seek them out you will not be disappointed. Thank you for taking the time to make this video, I enjoyed it very much.
Hi Michael, as far as I know a mono cutting head + tape head had also been used in the cutting process of the records in the Beatles Mono Boxset. But correct me if I'm wrong here.
Michael, thanks. I like your videos when you speak about new Jazz albums. I hope that day Chad Kassen (AP) out the Masterpieces Group Art Tatum Vol. 1, 2, 3, etc. in gatefold with photos edition. Best regards from Madrid, Spain.
Hallo Michael, habe mich zwar gefreut, dass Du die neue Nursery Cryme vorgestellt hast, aber würde mir wünschen, dass Du so etwas auch auf Deinem deutschen Kanal bringen würdest...
Hi Michael. Long time no comment from me. I have the Mozart performance on Speakers Corner and the Grieg. I did order the Dvořák. Thanks for the video about the Original Source Series latest releases. Be well. ☮️
I would like to know what is a mono cutting head, how it is mechanically different from a stereo cutting head, and how it would affect the shape of the groove. Is there a white paper on the subject?
As far as i know.,,Classic records did mono cuts…i have a few Blue Note CR monos, but i never heard one copy on a mono system…i read that in the internet some time ago…but if you have one release of the CR 200 g Monos, mastered by Bernie Grundman, you maybe could check/hear that on your mono system…
Great channel. Id like to hear more music on your amazing system please and thank you... The plastic sleeves are wrecking a lot of records as they age. Check out other horror stories of plastic deteriorating in the record jacket.. Cheers.

Pablo was a surprise as you said, these are quite easy to get as originals. Do you think the originals will go up in price, based on the interest for these new releases?
Well, why would I want to buy tube lacquer cuts when they were originally cut on solid state equipment (which I normally like much better)? Also, when it comes to mono reissues - did not Fremer point out, back then, that The Beatles mono box did indeed only use mono equipment?
Nice to see you SMILE when describing your MONO experience Michael.....I wish I could be so BLESSED!!!
Blues Power is one of the greatest blues records of all time and had a profound impact on me. I cherish my stax OG.

Great video Michael. Everything you showed will enrich your collection. I love mono recordings when the opportunity is there.
Great video….thank you! I am burnt out on the wall of sound. Great to see a return to this format
Hey Michael. Another great video about reissues. Thanks! Albert King is amazing, and I love Lightnin' Hopkins! Cheers

Thank you Michael … The Gifted Ones …. just sublime brilliance 👌🎶
Great records; enjoyed seeing those blues albums. I’m a growing fan of these vintage era blues albums. Always like seeing the ERC releases. Danke.

They already did. And its already difficult to get the "hot" ones in a decent condition, even before the series started
I have some two dozen old Pablos. They’re nice indeed
Michael next video you should title 'Practiced Lying and Slandering' and dedicate it to Waxed, who is lying through his teeth about you right now
Try the new Shabaka Hutchings (Sons of Kemet etc) record if you’d like to hear some contemporary flute music
Can you put a link to your interview with Rainer and Sidney? Danke.
FYI, Prince Lasha’s name is pronounced “La-shay”.
