So love this band and this song! Mayu is the only one I like screaming at me, just something about her scream I love. This band is one of the best out there today and the talent is unreal and undeniable. They are also very versatile, there is no genre they can not do and kill it. They are the Queens of covers that range from pop to rock to metal. I would recommend Oiran or Fighter and for a ballad their song Life, LIfe is sung to their drummer, Tamu, who just returned from having a baby, so they a bit emotional if you do the Mv, I would do the MV. I noticed the Linkin Park poster in the back: Nemophila started doing cover songs, and they did an awesome "Given Up" cover by Linkin Park! Other really good covers are "Megitsune" from BabyMetal and "Shimi" from Maximum the Hormone!
The guitarists are excellent, total metal! as well as a Band of young talented ladies that are as if the influential offspring of the older great Thrash Bands & newer Screaming Metal bands.
So brutal yet so beautiful. While they always put on their Very Serious Faces for professionally produced videos, if you get a chance, watch some of their in-studio live covers to see how much fun all of this is for them. The fandom has nicknamed the rhythm section "Laughing Thunder." It's infectious. Their Maiden covers are top notch. Mayu has a huge vocal toolkit, one of the most diverse I've heard

It might surprise you, but the vast majority of this song is actually English with only a couple lines in the chorus being Japanese. The lyrics are on Spotify, plus they have a completely English version, which you can't tell the difference between the versions until the chorus hits

When you thought NEMOPHILA couldn't go harder, they do! Every time I hear Mayu fry scream, my instinct is to duck and take cover. I mean, if you hear a woman screaming like this, you know you're in trouble! This band is so badass!!! 😆🤘

Nemophila is pure 🔥🔥🔥. Not all their songs are this heavy but they’re all fantastic. I recommend Revive or Oiran next.
