The only foreigner frag reviewer who is smart , as an Egyptian, these perfumes here in Cairo are so hated cuz u smell it in malls and hotel bathrooms Am glad u understand that the hype in the west is only due to its different Greetings from Egypt
Awwwww thank you! Yeah one of the things I’m curious about is how I feel upon my return to the Middle East. Would I still feel the same way or not? Thanks for your feedback!
This is one of my favorites and yes I love Saffron! Like you said, saffron is the show but the Oud, rose, chocolate & woods are always working in unison that makes this very enjoyable! Great breakdown & appreciate the review! 😎
I got this about a month ago. Upon initial blast, it reminded me of something I already owned. It took me a bit, but I finally figured it out: Al Haramain's Oudh 36 Nuit. Both have the same heavy saffron opening and the fragrances are very, very similar up until about the mid-point when they deviate slightly. Resala's rose is much more noticeable and the dark chocolate shine most whereas I commented some time ago that 36 Nuit smelled like S'mores with a marshmallow effect. Resala is the better of the two imo, but there are discernible differences. I also have a few other Arabian Oud's including Blue Oud which is outstanding (and expensive, but slightly cheaper if buying from overseas.) I have Arabian Legend arriving tomorrow. Mystic Special Oud is very nice and Kalemat is, well, Kalemat (I think everybody knows it by now?). The other standout I have at this point is Kashmir. Great floral/woody with Blackberry (Or Black Currant) and Plum.
Yo! Yeah man it’s interesting to wake up to all these comparison comments here! Again I wouldn’t be surprised if this smells like many of other branded perfumes because the formula is a very noticeable Middle Eastern scent! Thanks for your feedback!
I got this today, i tested different scents in the store but still chose this one for the reason you state above. I wanted to experience the scent here in the saudi arabia it is so unique from my collection.. I love chocolate scent i tried muglers angel and hugo boss private accord and none has caught my attention. Yes you are right when i went to the store the sa was surprised i wanted to test this one because to them there is nothing unique to this, almost everything here smells like oud 😅
Great video, blind bought Resala and it's fantastic 👌🏻 I was just wondering if u r familiar with Tarteel silver from Arabian oud? and does it differ from Ani? If yes, which one is better in ur opinion for a man as a vanilla fragrance??
I have a 5ml decant of this. I don't particularly like rose fragrance so I won't buy this, but it is unisex (I'm a chick, bf LOVED this), and it is quite heavy. This just isn't for me, but I will buy more Arabian Oud fragrances because this is just such a high quality perfume. One spray lasts at least 12 hrs on my skin. I don't think the saffron is prominent from the decant or on the skin.
The opening leans a bit feminine but after a few minutes it settles right in the middle. For men, spraying one on the chest below the shirt, or on the shirt is enough. Because it's pretty strong
You are good reviewer.you don't care where a fragrance is from.As long as it smells good, you will review it.you not like those reviewers who always do just Western reviews.Thats why I like your opinion.
Speaking from my own experience, the "Kuwait Shop" on ebay is my preferred legit source. Prices were good and arrived from Kuwait to California, US in a couple of weeks. My box of Arabian Knight was slightly torn on a corner but the juice was authentic. All in all, a pretty good experience considering how far and fast it arrived. I'm actually planning another purchase from them this week.
That's strange, saffron isn't that powerful in this to me. I predominately get oud, chocolate, and rose, with an emphasis on oud and chocolate. Really gorgeous fragrance though. I also use it to perfume my house. The sillage is absolutely amazing.
Yeah the Oud can be deceiving man and sometimes once that middle eastern vibe comes in you might be thinking it’s Oud (that was me way back then) but yeah it’s a ton of Saffron but a good continuation of Oud later on which has the overall Arabian tone :). Yeah it’s awesome!

So what is considered unique there, please do share 🙏, I would like to own something that is consider unique

You know your stuff bro. Keep it up.
It's been 3 days and I can still smell it on my shirt.
Dude since 3 days you are wearing same shirt 😀
Bro that’s nasty go change ur shirt lololol
For comparison’s sake. In your own opinion which fragrances would you pick over Resala?
Choose one for me - black kalemat or this resala
Brilliant review 👍👍 please review Rare Oud by the same house.
What’s a good alternative
Is this more for men or women

Please where can I get a trusted decant of Resala and other Arabian Oud fragrances?

Can you post link of Kuwait 🇰🇼 & Bahrain 🇧🇭 sellers so we can purchase
Do you think Resala leans more feminine than unisex?

I just bought it, i loved it but will it work the same good in Pakistan Lahore heat ??
Wish I knew man. Happy New Year from Los Angeles!
Hi troy i realy recommend you to try bussma or tarteel silver from the arabian oud house.
Will do!
Can you do Andalusi from the same house, thanks brother.
Soon!
It’s very similar to Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud, isn’t it?
That I don’t know I haven’t tried SO!
Yez
This is starter oud. Basic but a quality one.
Hey Troy, any reputable sellers you'd recommend? I'm interested in trying Arabian Oud but even the website is very limited.
eBay sellers from the Middle East

Bro please give me your top 5 most complimented
I don’t do it for the compliments unfortunately :)
Similar to montale black aoud?
While I haven’t tried that one or Shangaf Oud it’s a very nice Middle Eastern intro scent which if that’s what you’re getting then it probably is.
Not really. Black Aoud would be closer to Arabian Oud Majestic Special Oud, which is better.
Does this company have a discovery set?
There's a store about an hour from me. Guess I need to make a trip
NYC?
@@TroyD247Mall Yes, I live in northern NJ. I hear it's quite the experience shopping in store.
