Both my Batocera and PC for roms and bios are on same network. When I tried this once I do the double \\ and my IP address it brought up the login and password which I put in but an error message comes up saying Windows cannot access my IP address. Then I hit diagnose it says YOUR COMPUTER APPEARS TO BE CORRECTLY CONFIGURED BUT THE DEVICE DETECTED OR RESOURCE (iipADDRESS) IS NOT RESPONDING. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Can you remote access to the batocera through my phone to remote play? Like for example I use teamviewer to access files from my home pc if I left anything behind when leaving the house.

I want to be able to read a previously loaded Ext4 Batocera drive to a Virtual Machined Batocera, i have the Virtual Machine running, but i have no idea how to networkshare an ext4 Partition thru Windows 10 so that the VM Batocera can read from it.

If typing in the local IP Address of your device doesn't work, you can try just typing in the device name (by default it is 'batocera' so you get
\\batocera) sometimes windows runs into issues when using the ip of a device on your local network
having a hard time getting cave story. I saw that you have it. Tried putting it in psx and ports. Not sure where to put it and if it needs to be unzipped.

Are there any difference between launch box and batocera? Like are there benefits to one more than the other ?
I haven't used launchbox more than a couple times. Seemed pretty good but I'm not well enough acquainted with it to outline the pros and cons.
my opinion: batocera is more like an OS. Quite plug and play , but not the best for customization, even for important stuff like buttons. Launchbox is just a frontend, so you got a lot of customization capabilities but you'll have to configure every emulator and stuff. If you plan to play older games i'd go with batocera without problems, for newer games I'd prefer to have a bit more of customization on Launchbox.
They're two totally different things. LaunchBox is a program which is used in Windows, and an excellent frontend at that. If you just want to run games and emulators within Windows, LaunchBox is (by far) the best. However, if you just want to boot into an OS environment with the games and emulators (mostly) already configured, then Batocera is an all around solid choice.

Batocera didnt ask me for credentials, that was kinda odd. But it worked just fine.
Wait, so I don't need a Keyboard or mouse set up with my Steam deck to use this Sharing across the network with my PC?
That makes this so much easier even if it takes longer to transfer the rom files. I have games on my PC and want to transfer them directly to the steam deck....and this video makes it seem like I can do exactly that if I'm hearing this correctly?

I have a question boss in batocera they have both sega genesis and master system. What rom file name is sega genesis I can not find it but I see it in the menu I added the games to master system but 90 percent of the games did not load or don’t play can you guide with I use batocera v35.

In this video I was using an elitedesk mini pc ($120) on amazon right now with my light gun build for Batocera. It's a ssd that gets installed within that PC and enables you to play hundreds of classic light gun games.

You don't you'd have to move stuff to a flash drive or sd card and transfer that way.
