Content is good, and expenses for inside and outside London are pretty spot on. I'm in Milton Keynes with kids and what you've estimated is correct, but the salary brackets are highly inflated. The average population earns around 20-30k so where your couple salary expectations might be okay, your single salary expectations are unrealistic.
Hi Shweta, thanks a lot for liking our content. In regards to salary, we are discussing about the people either who are migrating here or completing their studies and then finding jobs. In these two cases.. salary they get are more than 20-30K. We are not considering british average population.. their scenario is different but those coming on skilled worker visa.. their threshold salary is minimum £35K annually in most cases to get the visa.. hope you get our point.
I think they are talking about people migrating to UK on Tier4 - General Category Visa - Skilled Worker VISA where the rule itself says a minimum 35K Annual to get that VISA. its not about local residents

so its very easy for students they can make friends while stay in pg its easy for you to get jobs based on friends reference and they can help you in initial in opening bank account/ and others accounts. and guide you

Since, you mention about the creche', isn't there a discounted hours given to employees by their company around 15 hours per week?
The idea behind making this video is excellent. However, even in these times of inflation, the figures outside London mentioned by you guys are super inflated…
My scenario
Birmingham
Rent 2 bed house £700 pm
Council Tax £100 pm
Utility £175 (electricity, gas, broadband, mobile network subscription, water)
Grocery (2 adults, 1 kid) £300-350
With chicken, beef including
Transport max £50-75
Eating out £50-75 pm
Shopping £50-100 pm
Misc £100 pm
Min £1525- Max £1700
No car atm
Take home £3400 (1 part time worker, 1 full time tier 2 worker)
Child 6 yrs
Definitely it’s going to be different depending on area wise.. outside London could mean Leamington Spa as well.. or Manchester.. areas in Birmingham are very cheap so £700 for 2 bed you could get in Birmingham somehow but in Leamington nothing less than £1200 for 2 bed.. same for few other cities..

Yes I agree with you as well… but people if they are coming here on sponsored jobs are eventually going to end up getting jobs and/or living in areas like Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester, Cardiff, Belfast, Edinburgh or Glasgow 60-80% of times especially when we talk about outside London… Therefore, still I believe in reality the estimates would be lesser as compared to the figure quoted by you guys… Majority of my friends and family on tier 2 live in these cities that I mentioned…

Yeah we have recently moved to London.
I have come to Cardiff with family n kid. Most annoying is they didn't give house even though rents were less. I had to go for 1100.
Outside London , it’s ok 1300 pounds to live happily for couples . I don’t know where that extra 450 pounds adding ? Fine it depends on their interest it seems !
What about making the above video after taking in the support benefits received by govt ( Universal credit ) for a family of 3 ( parents+ 1 kid ) , when only husband is working and remaining members are on benefits?

extremely useful video , i agree to all points , the rents have risen to 1500 for 1 bhk and so have grocery rates , easily it comes to 300 gpb per month. It would be really helpful if u can make video on salary range of IT wrt years of experience for roles like software developer , data analysis , business analyst for both service and product companies . That would really help people to know if they can negotiate better.
