  • A favourite in our house, here's a simple Thai Red Curry recipe you're going to love.
    Ingredients
    250g chicken
    3 tablespoon oil
    2 and half tablespoon Thai red curry paste (Mae Plo)
    1 tin coconut milk (400g)
    1 cup chicken stock
    2 tablespoon brown sugar
    2 tablespoon fish sauce
    1 tablespoon Kaffir lime leaves
    1 cup bell peppers
    2 long red chillies
    1/2 cup fresh basil

    I'm Thai, That Thai red curry looks great but I think the chicken should be a little thinner 👌❤️ But it's up to you how you like it.

      @@Djstueif I can’t handle extremely spicy or hot foods, how do I make it mildly spicy like how some of the koan farung like it 😂.

    I did it but without sugar at all and I didn't have coconut milk I used a full fat milk and I didn't have lime leaves but had everything else and it turned out very delicious thanks you for the recipe so much next time I will do it with all the ingredients keep the good work going champ🥂

    You needed to crack the coconut cream, which is the separation of coconut oil from coconut milk

    I made it for lunch today! I was too impatient to wait for rice to cook, so I used rice noodles instead. Authentic? Probably not. Tasty? VERY

    I had Thai red curry frozen meal and it was delicious.
    It wasn’t spicy tho so idk if I could handle the heat

    Made this twice but for some reason the oil separates in mine? Still taste great, maybe I'll try less oil next time.. 🤔

    Can you use heavy cream if you’re allergic or dislike coconut milk ?

      You can but it's just not the same. FYI, Asian conunut milk is the equivalent to the Americans coconut cream. American coconut milk is a drink while Asians is basically heavy cream. Maybe you had bad experiences with American coconut milk Which I also think is disgusting.

    Chicken is overcooked. Lemongrass need to be added at the beginning. Definitely not properly done.

    Mine became very watery. The only change was using chicken broth instead of stock :(

      You have to cook the first half of the coconut milk for some time to incoperated. Cook longer or increase high heat.
