    Drexler's fingerroll at 2:10 is one of the sickest i've ever seen. I've watched a lot of Gervin's highlights, but this one is crazy. He release the ball with a wild touch, but it only touches net... Unbelievable control from Clyde!

    • @SchmerzUndFeuer
      @SchmerzUndFeuer 6 лет назад +8

      Yeah bro I don't think "destroyed" would be the word I would use when the Spurs beat them twice in Houston in the 1995 Western Conference Finals. Robinson's and Hakeem's stats for that series weren't that far apart. Other than that series Robinson's Spurs got the better of them most of the time. Horry even said it in this video.

      Gurjit Parmar There are many highlights of young David dunking on Hakeem and his team too. And Hakeem had a better team. Who was David’s best teammate prior to Tim Duncan? Del Negro?

    • @daviesugo7641
      @daviesugo7641 4 года назад

      Hakeem averaged 35 pts, 5 assists, 4 blocks on 56% shooting that series. DavidRobinson averaged 23 pts, 2 assists, 2 blocks on 45% shooting that series. The difference was much.

    Clyde is such a great 👍🏽 person. I’m from Houston and I’m out running 🏃 at Memorial Park and there’s Clyde passing me up taking to me like a person. Treating me like I’m an equivalent and being just nice and he says let’s run together. BUT no way dude! That guy was running twice as fast 💨 as me!

    5:20 that's right from Drexler. If you haven't watched David Robinson during the 90's, you won't know just how quick he could be. Drexler nailed it with " he was 7'2, quick as a guard". That's what it felt like. Which is absolutely ridiculous.

    i love what david says about the level of the 90's and he is right.there are players who weren't known and who would have been stars today.the only problem was the shine of jordan that eclipsed everybody and the marketing that was different.
    for example guys like isiah rider,eddie jones or cedric ceballos to name few would have been superstars today with the marketing,specially with today's rules that would have allowed them to score more and to be noticed by the public.

      Air Magic 80's, yes. 90's, no. 90's were watered down.

    • @TheLionaaa
      @TheLionaaa 9 лет назад +2

      Dan Tuzolana
      Well, according to David Robinson, The best era was the 90's. 90's had more defense overall, more parity and lots of the best players of the 80's were in their prime in the 90's. So, like I said, you can only make a case for 80's or 90's. Plus, the first half of the 90's were almost exactly like the 80's...except the defense got better because of the pistons that everybody was trying to (more or less) emulating. The water down argument is a joke. That's Bird and DR.J being jealous of the 96 Bulls team (and I love/respect both of them). The 80's also had new teams in its decade and I don't think they believe it was watered down. The new teams in the 90's came in the second half of the 90's and it's not just 2 teams that will watered down 30 teams in this incredibly talented era.

    • @d.luvevo711
      @d.luvevo711 9 лет назад +2

      Air Magic The expansion teams honestly ruined the NBA talent-wise for that decade. Only because they all were thrown in at nearly the same time and all of a sudden you have 100+ more spots for players and the greats were more spread out. That's why a stacked team like Chicago won that much. No other team had nearly enough talent to compete, they were comparable to the 2011-2013 Miami Heat because of how unfair the matchups were. The '86 Celtics were better than the '96 Bulls, as they had only 4 less wins than them in a much tougher era.
      Plus, there weren't a lot of expansion teams in the Bird-Magic era, and except for the Mavs, there weren't any at all until 1988. And since then there have been new teams.

    • @TheLionaaa
      @TheLionaaa 9 лет назад

      Dan Tuzolana
      Look at your first sentence and how biased it is. The expansion teams were only 2 teams out of 30. And they came in 1996 and you pretend it ruined the whole decade? Please...don't make me laugh. Second, the Bulls were not a stacked team (Lebron fan I guess). The Bulls were an average team and that's a fact. Just because you are ignorant about this decade and don't know nothing about the other teams don't give you the permission to talk shit. I am not gonna mension all the teams that were more talented than the Bulls but just take the teams the Bulls faced in the finals. ALL OF THEM HAD MORE TALENTS. And that's one of the reason Jordan was so impressive because he had to take over games to win and make his teammates better players... he would do it ALL THE TIME. Now, like I said they were also expansion teams in the 80's not only the Mavs and nobody use it to say the 80's was watered down. Bullshit argument...the nba was just much more better in the 80's and the 90's at so many levels, period.

    • @kharenbalois203
      @kharenbalois203 4 года назад

      I agree. But it's a completely different story if you're the FMVP in all those rings, scoring champ and all defensive 1st team in all those seasons you got those rings, and not lose one in any of those finals, did it 6 times in 8 years in a double 3peat, the only times you were out when playing another sport, then yeah # of rings matter in that context
