The old saying, "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime", also "teach a young boy to fish and you will give him a path to happiness for a lifetime." Whether it's to eat or to just entertain himself, he'll have that secondary path outside the world of tv and computers to relax.
