My grandpa said....there are two things you pay good money for....Your boots and your mattress, because you spend half you life in your boots working and the other, sleeping on your mattress. He was a farmer. Your video made me remember that conversation. If only we could make life that simple. Just sharing. Love you guys so much!
Barron sniffing the mattress and getting “high” was hysterical! Also, I’m so happy that you had someone to talk to and help you process your emotions. I too went through something similar (like so many others) and am sending big virtual hugs. ❤
What a great treat to wake up too, love you guys and every time I see a new video it’s an instant must watch. Elsa I’m proud of how far you’ve come since your miscarriage. You and Barron are going to be excellent parents
"My life is exactly as it should be." I'll admit to crying through a lot of this video. Hearing you say that - and going back to listen to it again filled my heart. I'll always be glad I found you both.
Love it when two channels that I follow, come together in a video! Love this! Elsa, and Baron, my thoughts are with you, I will light a candle in honour of you.
Love watching you both! Keep living your best lives! I wish I had, had the guts when I was younger to follow my ❤ and had the adventurous and memories that you both are making! Love you both from Kentucky
As I was watching the first few minutes of this video, I noticed how lovingly you captured Max. And I had the thought that you were showing us part of your own grief by how you were showing your tenderness towards him. Thank you for being so open here. It's a real gift to give the Internet and all of us who care about you, even though you don't know us. ❤️ Ps- I also have a baby Max who is 9 months old now and we had him after two years of IVF. Sending love.
just overhere happy crying missing you two your beautiful home, your beautiful energy, and beautiful colorado! truly so grateful to have had the chance to spend time together surrounded by everything you built. cant explain how inspiring this trip was for me and Lou. sending all our love and cant wait for you to come to New York!!! big hugs Dana
The couch is great! It's so nice to see people going back to designing things in accordance with their needs as opposed to what society has been telling us, which is that you need to have your house looking like it belongs in Architectural Digest even if most of the space is wasted and it's filled with stuff you never use or look at. You aren't building a house. You are building a home - inside and out, and it's beauty is that it will reflect the amazing couple that is creating it 🥰 Always with love and blessings from Eastern Ontario, Canada ❤🤍❤
Pure joy, you’ve made my day. I’m pleased you were able to talk to your friend Elsa and release those emotions you have been storing up. I loved the couch despite the ‘bean bag’ being a bit chunky. It looked really cosy and comfy. Take care, be safe. 💕 Dorset, UK
Wow! What a Sunday. I've had Hannah Lee Duggan, Isabel Paige and now Elsa and Barron to indulge in. Sometimes I feel like God loves me extra special. To Elsa, your tears are shared as is your grief. We love you, sweetheart. I cry for you this day. 30 years ago my brother lost his 6-month-old son Cameron. I can tell you that while the pain does subside, the grief carries on as we carry the loss with us until it's our time to revisit our loved ones again. You're in my heart. Please find peace.
I’m glad you’ve had a nice time visiting with friends and are able to create food from the Scamp / A-frame menu of memories. Thank you Baron for sharing the contents of your Emergency kits. You’ve certainly shown us a thing or two on the rights of things ie soft tool kit. Blessings dear ones🌱
I enjoyed Barron's geek out on his car essentials (with Pilot supervising) We havent seen him do one for a while, its so cool listening to someone talking about their interests.
love seeing the very real side to your guys’ relationship. It’s refreshing to see couples not try to come off as perfect but still have very healthy ways of dealing with the inevitable things their partner does that annoy them 👏
You guys are great, I thoroughly enjoy your work, I especially love when Elsa makes herself some vittles. She throws down, and her food looks so delish. I love the community you guys have. Thanks for sharing
That sister connection with women is something we are all craving more and more. So glad you found eachother! 💖 I started watching both of your channels in the peek of covid and seeing you guys come together just made me so emotional 💖 love you all and thank you for sharing your lives with us!
Lovely video!! I always love Barron gear talks/show and tell. I learned to carry a small sledgehammer and a piece of wood from a crazy adventure in Central Oregon. We got a flat tire (not usually a big deal as we have a spare) and the dang wheel was rusted or something to the car. Even with all the lug nuts off it would NOT come off!! Finally a few hours into trying to figure out what to do, a very nice person showed up and helped us. They were rockhounding and he had a big sledge hammer and a piece of wood to protect the rim of the wheel and we used it to beat on the wheel until it finally popped off. We had our little kids with us and were wayyyy out in the boonies. It was so stressful but lesson learned. We were prepared so it wouldn't have killed us to have to set up camp but idk what we would have done to get out of there.
I am so very glad that you were able to connect with Dana. Grieving and forgiving yourself for the loss is extremely important. It's ok to remember when you allow yourself time to heal. There is no clock on grief. Move through at your own pace. ❤
Great video as always. Inspiring as always! Thank you Barron for sharing what you carry in your vehicles for tools. I love all your videos, but this tool bag unpacking I really needed to see. I always learn such valuable insights, direction, how to take action along with common sense knowledge. I appreciate when you give us the "why" and "how to's". Thank you for sharing all your wisdom and skills with us!
Processing grief is so different for everyone. I for sure feel the wildness of life while in the grief. Like things keep going and moving, part of you is still back and wondering yet life is busy and a whirlwind. I love the editing of the video. The couch is cute lol!
It’s baffling to me, after losing a baby in a similar manner to you years ago, my body somehow knew those grief anniversaries viscerally. Time would pass and I’d forget what day it was, then suddenly start feeling really sad, and would realize it was a grief anniversary. Be gentle with yourself as your life moves on, and let yourself feel whatever you feel. 💜
I love how you both live your lives. Your dreams are coming true. You deserve all the happiness in the world. Your dream of having children will happen. I can't wait to see the two of you being parents 💝
We bought that same fabric in downtown Taos at my favorite fabric store! I made a shoulder bag for my partner’s native flutes. I appliquéd a heart on the bottom of it. Loving what you two are putting together.
I am so sorry for your loss. I would encourage if you want help unloading the car to ask instead of make fun. I believe for most it is not sustainable. Glad Else you were able to share with someone that you found safe and glad you know you are right where you need to be. Love your channel and wishing you all the best. Happy Birthday Kamp!
Another thing you should keep in your vehicles is the 'space' blanket. The shiny silver blanket for keeping warm, or reflecting the heat, depending on your need. I have multiples in both our vehicles in case there is a need for others besides ourselves. They are good for so many things and will fit in any small corner of your bag or glove box.
I love the spirit of you two together. Elsa, I've not met you but your transparency on your range of emotions is endearing. When you shared your innermost thoughts on the loss and grief of your pregnancy, I found my eyes welling up for you as well. I could sense how you were feeling and I am hoping that you and Barron's wishes are realized sooner rather than later. Wishing you the best there is yet to be and your home is filled with enough! Dana is a sister when in need, and I am so pleased she was there when you needed her, and you for her. She's quite the gift! Just to think her gift was also a gift to you and Barron! You two needed this visit...Enough...
Guys! I have that chair, I use it while sitting in my tiny rv while watching your guys videos! I will also use it when I watch your upcoming podcast videos. Thank you for the video! Watching your videos makes me appreciate the small things. You guys also helped me come to terms with needing to live well below my means and now I LOVE my tiny rv. One day all my dreams will come true but for now I must be grateful for all I have. Thank you for the lessons.
that day is very significant and important as is all those moments, when you found out you were pregnant, when you lost your angel, your due date and all of those emotions in between and in the future. heal from them but never forget them. you have every right to grieve the loss of your child, lost in the womb or in life, the number of days, weeks or years doesn't matter. a loss is a loss. remember them in a year, in 5, in 10 that hurt will never go away, do not allow anyone to make you feel like it's not important or valid, including yourself prayers and love ❤
Thank you for the tour of your car emergency kit. We just bought a Subaru Crosstrek and are planning to do a lot more camping and I’ve been trying to put a car kit together. Very helpful.
It is a very, very special day when two of my favorite RUclips channels come together! I can only imagine all five of you together and the wonderful energy that would be in the air. Wholesome, nurturing, loving, cozy, inspiring, and ease come to mind. I always wondered if you guys would cross paths. All of your souls feel like they are made from the same cloth. Dana was ready to receive your pain and struggles with open arms in your time of need Elsa 🥰🧡
Thank you! what an enjoyable time watching your journey.god takes the trials in our lives and turns them into triumphs, wait for it Elsa, you'll see.love you guys,be blessed!
This video made me SO HAPPY! I have watched you for years and Dana and Lou even longer. Just this morning (really!), I was thinking that the four of you have been on the same continent for long enough now, it is high time you met, and I hope that you do a video if you do. Here you are, and it sounds like the timing was perfect.
Really nice visit with friends and a time of releasing your feelings. The couch looks really comfy and classy and the food you prepared looked so good. Warmer weather on the way along with more outside activities. Greetings from Wisconsin. Take care.
I love seeing how your home is becoming more and more you. I’ve been in my home for years, with my daughter as she grows, and it’s the same with us. Always something unfinished, alway a work in progress, always being changed by our hands to become more us. Our home changes as we change.
You’re due date is a special day. So much bittersweet emotion in honoring the life that you carried, even if for a short time. I’m so glad you have such a friend to process with. And an enchanting little boy who seemed to understand things that he “shouldn’t be able” to comprehend. Blessings to you. 💕
That date is always hard, no way around it. My wife and I still struggle with ours, 4 years on. Our 1.5 year old keeps us busy though which helps so hang in there, your turn one day.
I honestly cant think of a more gentle wonderful ear than Dana in your time of need. What a gift.

As an old man with an old dog, I love seeing Camp enjoying his old age. Thanks for sharing.
Princess Kamp is the best!!! Love him. Love Elsa and Barron!

That Precious Little boy had a purpose....that Hug...to heal something inside of both of you.💙💙💙💙💙

Your community is wonderfully, heart warming, healing, encouraging. Thank you for sharing with us. I laugh and cry with you.
So well said....
That was great! I needed a chuckle - Barron is so cute bringing the big bean bag in - multi purpose. You guys are so great.

Match the couch bean bag cover to the mattress cover would make it look more like a traditional couch. Great idea though for movie nights ❤
