Even as a kid I LOVED Janice, and though now gone, I, now a mom with two grown daughters, and grandkids of my own, I discovered this young girl who blew me away with first her timidity, then her singing and dancing. She was, and is, a LIONESS in a cutthroat business, and she, Courtney Hadwin is the one to make the cutthroats RUN! First saw this young woman on You Tube less than 90 min ago. I saw Janis live. Courtney Hadwin made be cry with sensitivity/ happiness three times in watching her sing and emote. Her Dad seemed to tacitly suggest she has Asperger's (as Elon says he does). In any case, she and we are spiritual beings having a human experience. I love her vocal style as well as her moves when she was 13. I just hope she stays away from boring POP and stick to visceral BLUES which her voice does so naturally and so well. The blues just works so well for her voice and style. It's a real shame on the people in the World who are just Jealous of Talent in many forms. It's like they have nothing better to do but put you down for the Talent that you have. All those that are Jealous are Jealous cuz it's you on Stage & not them. Example, Mel Blanks, the Man of 1,000 Voices behind every Looney Tune Character was made fun of, was laughed at, was called a Jerk, etc. Little did anyone know Mel Blanks was a Millionaire & laughed all the way to the Bank. I was a kid when Janice Joplin rocked the world. Even as a kid I LOVED Janice, and though now gone, I, now a mom with two grown daughters, and grandkids of my own, I discovered this young girl who blew me away with first her timidity, then her singing and dancing. She was, and is, a LIONESS in a cutthroat business, and she, Courtney Hadwin is the one to make the cutthroats RUN!
As an Apache (albeit now a damaged, and useless musician), I see the Warrior in her, and I am very proud of Courtney, and love her family for standing by her when jealous fools try to tear her down... and FAIL

First saw this young woman on You Tube less than 90 min ago. I saw Janis live. Courtney Hadwin made be cry with sensitivity/ happiness three times in watching her sing and emote. Her Dad seemed to tacitly suggest she has Asperger's (as Elon says he does). In any case, she and we are spiritual beings having a human experience. Thx Courtney-- and to your family for squiring you -- to wake people up to life and consciousness during this current dire spiritual battle.

Haters are only jealous wishing they had at least an ounce of the kind of Talent Courtney has, like many great singers who are ridiculed and rejected by those who sit and judge without anything better to do with their life.
Hopefully, she will gain strength in time to ignore those who Judge.
I love her vocal style as well as her moves when she was 13. I just hope she stays away from boring POP and stick to visceral BLUES which her voice does so naturally and so well. The blues just works so well for her voice and style. She'd be selling out as well as cheating herself if she listens to others that are trying to steer her into a more subdued pop direction because it might be more commercially viable for her and her managers.
