1) Excellent and comprehensive overview. 🎉 Kudos to Ropsie and her team. 👍🏻 2) Zoom and handwriting. Fantastic human and amateur calligrapher here. 😊 I learned in calligraphy that if you write as neat as you can and larger-it will look better when you reduce the size. The key is to write large and neat in the first place. If you scribble, then writing larger and shrinking it later-your handwriting will not make a difference. BTW-don’t believe you need a specific zoom tool. Pinching works for me. Finally, the fountain pen feature is terrible-from a calligrapher’s standpoint-nothing replaces ink on paper☝🏻 3) Layers (IMHO) is the most useful feature for the work I do. Flash Cards is not useful to me since I’m not a student so I never have a need. Tape: not sure how I can use it so “undecided” for me. 4) Appreciate Notability keeps a clean interface as it adds on more features.
Noteful have all the same features to that of good notes or notability . - in noteful u will get , search , handwriting conversion , zoom and what not .

Fantastic detailed review, and glad to see the hate for this app has diminished since it switched to subscription. It really is well worth it IMO, especially with the math conversion and latex code options. Plus the ruler is a god-send- I teach an Optics course in physics, and over half of the material is about geometric optics. The ruler allows you to trace rays with super ease and accuracy.

But, on the other hand, $36 for an app I only use occasionally over three years sounds steep... For someone who uses the app on a daily basis, it's probably one of the best notetaking apps.

Hello! I doubt it is the colour that's the problem, it's probably a PDF template. PDFs are generally big files that become bigger when you annotate them.

Hello! Sadly, Notability only has fixed pen sizes and no millimetre options. So you can't calibrate it that way, you'll have to use one of the available options.

I love her voice! It's so soothing. And her pacing and accent -- all great to me! Her delivery is exceptional and rare. However, I think there's plenty of other videos out there with the approach you prefer. But very few of this quality -- which I prefer.
