This is very helpful. After two years of COVID lockdown, I knew I had put on some weight, but when I tried on my work clothes for returning to the office, EVERYTHING - blazers, skirts, dresses and blouses were a size too small!! So I’m going to try my hand at alterations, as well as trying to lose weight, lol.
That’s so true with me as well. I have piles of clothes I want to remake. I hope it will work out for you. I am not an tailor, I did this for fun as a challenge to make my old unworn clothes wearable again. I also do my alteration on a least favorite shirts that have the color and material I like that way if I mess up, I won’t be upset. If it turns out good I’ll be extra happy. Good luck!
This would be a great way to make a new shirtdress fit, never thought of cutting off bottom fabric .I bought the largest size and it’s too small in the top .thanks for your brilliant video
You could always buy some matching material, or for your white top you could buy some eyelet material to make a peplum or gathered tier for the bottom...
Es más ancha. Pero cortica. No muy buena idea. Lo ideal sería. Agregar. Una Liza de material. Muy parecido. Y agregar Solo es mi opinión. A mi personalmente. Me gustan las blusas un poco largas. Gracias por el tutorial 😘
Yes, it would be a good option for some people. You can read the “about” section and watch my channel intro to see why I make this choice. Thanks for watching🥰!
😅I'll take it as a complement. I am new to sewing and like to experiment and play with design ideas I have in my head. I hope people will be inspired to try different ways to have fun sewing. I had fun doing this transformation.
I think she cut a couple of inches off the bottom of the shirt and used it to create an insert/side panel. Looks like she also took the darts out…it is difficult to see given that the fabric is white…my understanding anyway✌️
It’s not actually possible to tell which bits you are cutting for instance I thought you’d found an old sleeve or something somewhere and were chopping a bit off and what is that thing under the sleeve, the funny sticky out bit? I suggest that if you can’t speak you put more explanatory text on screen so that people know what you’re doing
I don't have enough information from you to give you any assistance. If you need language help, you can use the auto-translate to pick your language or you can rewatch the video to see if it helps.

Ah enfin quelques transformations faciles à réaliser merci de Paris
Bonjour mes ami! Pardon my minimal French knowledge. I'm so happy you like my video!
Thank you for sharing this idea ! You did a nice job !
Thanks!
You are a magician! A knitting needle would work really well to sharpen up those seams I think.
Thanks 😄 You are right, anything pointy would work well.
Ficou ótima, parabéns.👏👏👏👏👏👏
Obrigado! Thanks ❤️
Súper . Gracias por compartir . 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
You're welcome!
Very interesting. Will have to try this.
However, not everyone has a serger to overlock the edges. Some of us have to make do with hemming by hand.
That's great, I want to learn to hand sew someday! Have fun!
excellent job!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great work. Congrats.
Thanks!
Beautiful job!

True, for those who want to keep the length. Thanks for the suggestion.
好方法,最好用相似的布加宽,这样不会因加宽而变短。谢谢分享!
yes, that's a good approach as well.
Super👍👏🌸🏵
Seria bueno tambien combinar con otra tela y mantener el largo de la blusa 👏
Agree!
Thank you.

yes, I agree for longer shirts.
Not better to sell or give away the shirt and buy or make a new one?

Поношенная кому нужна?
It’s up to individuals. My shirt was a shopping mistake and not worn so I decided to play and transform it to something I could wear and love.
I have no idea what you just did. And I am a sewer.

@@marikalathem813 Thanks.
@@marikalathem813 Yes you got it perfectly!
Now the shirt looks too big and too short on you.
It's alright. I'm 4'10.5" so I like the crop. Makes my proportions look a lot better than before.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
🥰
Why is this video on my yt feed. I haven't watched anything like it on yt then why yt is recommending me this 😂😂.
Thanks for watching.
It's the universe telling you something 🙄🙄🌻
@@AnaMaria-sm2rj Even I thought the same thing 😂
What if you like the length. This doesn't work.
You can keep the length by using a separate piece of fabric that is not part of the garment to add width.

Yes the information is there, you can watch it again. Can you clarify your question? I don't see what you see.
Ok
Thanks
Молодец,но перед не рассчитала,что есть грудь, поэтому короче.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have further written instructions on the videos for clarification.
