The hook of this song is so pretty. The title theme will always be my favourite because of how absurd it is, but this is definitely the next best.

Ah yes. I have such fond memories of this song. I was doing duo lingo lessons and I got stuck on the word kitanai or something like that which means dirty or messy. And someone said the way to remember it is *“Can’t deny* this room is kitanai.” So when I heard that in the song, I was like “Oh I know what that means! It means messy! Like this room that I’m rolling around in!”

I don't know. I guess not. I thought it was here 0:46. That explains why I spelled it wrong when I wrote the comment the first time. I don't care. The lyrics will always be "Kitanai" to me.

Hard to beat 8-bit Big Band's version, but decent attempt
I'm loathe to compare two different interpretations considering all the work that went into each, but this feels much closer to spirit of the original track. Katamari Damacy doesn't really lend itself to big band besides Katamari on the Rocks.
