I would love to see more videos of these videos uploaded separately. Lonely Rolling Star is epic, but every Asahi song is worth listening to on its own - especially Carrying You, A Town with an Ocean View and Inochi no Namae.

I said this already on another video but I love the flavor the singer brings to the arrangement. Loved the Castle in the Sky and arrangements of Utada's songs! It's amazing how much it can transform in genre/mood yet still be distinctly recognizable!

Oh I just stumbled upon this band and I love it! The covers are all great. The reference to Linne's Night Walk theme at 48:45 caught me by surprise and I thought it was funny. I wonder how many people in the chat caught it.
I know this is a really late reply but a cover of Linne's was released by The Consouls in June 2020 and it quickly became a favourite of fans and the most requested tune during Request shows so there were probably a fair few in the chat who caught the quote :) You would, by now, have also noticed that Crystal Smail quotes during solos are also a thing :D

Ooooh. Hisaishi Anime Song. What a great surprise. Asahi's voice is pretty interesting. It has this great dry (I don't exactly know how to describe it) tone.
