You are the hero we don't deserve. Such a talent, spent humoring us over a 20 year old game. No raycon earbud or raid shadows legends adverts. Just good ol d2 content. You're definitely appreciated by myself, as well as many others, I'm sure. Thanks for the great retelling of one of my favorite stories.
I certainly like audiobooks and I love diablo 2, I must say this is the BEST storytelling narrative of an actual gameplay an description that is quite damn near on point everywhere. Continue doing great work!!
I've been listening to all of these Diablo series; your unique style and thorough storytelling is literally the best thing out there. I absolutely love it. Thank you bud, amazing work.
LOL. The ending alone earned my subscription. Listened to all the full stores from act 1 - 5, treated it like an audiobook while farming. Amazing stuff, thanks for the great narration!
First thing I must say I absolutly love your videos with how you present the characters in the games and the lore you give, do you have videos or information on what happened to the heroes of Diablo 2, I have had a hard time finding any thing about that?
As someone who is a relatively new diablo fan since the diablo 4 trailer dropped, this was really awesome to watch! I'll be looking forward to your narration of diablo 3!
was it ever explained why Baal has this face and spider body in LoD, whereas in the original D2 cinematic he's the twisted, decaying remains of Tal'Rasha with tentacles? I guess the spider body could be his truer demonic form evolution, but where did the tentacles go and what's up with the strange face? I never got that
the spidey form is his true form, just like diablo, and he does have the tentacles, the Festering Appendages that he uses to attack you in the chamber if you are far away, the d2 cinematic was just tal rasha's body, just like how the wanderer transformed into diablo in the hellportal cinematic, we just never saw onscreen how tal rasha transformed into baal
15:25 I was there before the patches. All of them. Paladin and Necromancer combo, endless near fps breaking swarms of skeletons with thorns. Oh the carnage.
Awaiting to see how fascinating of Act V had become in Resurrected remastered with the cutscene cinematic title change from Epilogue to Act V. Especially the Arreat Summit view on top to the ground before heading into Worldstone Keep.
Loved all your 5 act vids. Realized i have played the game a bit wrong and missed so many details. Btw why did you skip the gossip? I cant wait for a longer remake when D2R comes.
I was hoping you might make a crack about the barbarians who get stuck behind walls or wander aimlessly while their brethren die before them when all they need do is Leap like they are trained to do and assist them. Ah well. Also, "Full plate and packing steel." You should have made a Barbarian instead since you're quoting Minsc.
I am nearing the end of this story, and this has been an epic tale. I am very pleased by the narration. Thank you for this nostalgic journey. That said, am I the only one who thinks Tyrael a true villain? Diablo is one the few stories I've invested serious head cannon into, from guilds lapsed over from D1, to personal retcons in the D&D modules.
@Dark LORE Dash I absolutely loved playing Diablo 1 & 2. A couple of games I would love to see a series of videos on is the Aveyond Series and Cronicles of a Dark lord 1 & 2. I think your commentary would be awesome and hilarious. Even though the graphics are not as detailed as Diablo
I liked this video even though I didn’t watch it in its entirety (which, as a Paladin, was a difficult lie). Rather, I watched it piecemeal, and throughly enjoyed every segment. Appreciate all you do, Dash!
Can someone explain why Deckard Cain has darker skin than the black Paladin? 5:03 ... & Darker than all the arabs in lvl 2... & equal color to the black sorcerer D1?... ... ... Looks like he was supposed to be black originally.
It's clear to notice that the LoD Expansion didn't live up to the deep immersive story that we had in diablo 1 and 2 Classic. There was little effort put into dialogues and quests, when compared to everything else we've had before Act V. Still great, don't get me wrong, but not as unique as d1 and 2 Classic was. After all, the expansion was mostly a desperated way to bring content to the game, more than to continue it's amazing storyline.
Imagine if that barbarian envoy tanked that attack from baal in the cinematic, do you think baal would just awkwardly pack up his army after finding the barbarian terms acceptable?
Great storyteller! Have been enjoying the videos. One thing I always found puzzling was why the Barbarians invited/let Baal into the mountain in the introduction Video? Not very smart of them to lower the drawbridge for Baal to enter (unless it was some kind of honor combat thing/prove the Barbarians strength). Any ideas?
Incredible series regardless! Been watching from the beginning of D1, including cut quests. Continuing on with D3. Let's see if you can save its unfortunate story writing.
Master Nataka Wow, you learned me something there. I listen to the Cain Rap every 4-5 years, but I had never listened, or looked at the lyrics, that closely.
You are the hero we don't deserve.

Have been following the series mate since act 1. I really love the unique storytelling. One of a kind. Tnx for this mate.
Youre too kind!
Mate. I was thinking the same thing mate.
I certainly like audiobooks and I love diablo 2, I must say this is the BEST storytelling narrative of an actual gameplay an description that is quite damn near on point everywhere. Continue doing great work!!
I love how the guard turns to the closing doors and you can clearly see him think "FML", but he shakes it off to confront Baal knowing h'e's done.
"It seems your terms..
are not acceptable" I love Baal's laugh afterwards
He definitely seems the most fabulous of the prime evils, especially with that big ruffle of spikes he has.
He strikes me as a demon that drinks Rosé.
@@phaethos Nah, he would have class.
Oof... That Ancient's Pledge fail gave me a good laugh.
HAHAHAHA Same!
best part of the video. lol
What a perfect bedtime story, thank you!
1st to comment First comment!
Gnight!
@@DarkLOREDash do diablo hiegth video's please aka size comparison
I’m not afraid. I’m a level 94 hammerdin!!
I know right that's what I did last night now I'm gonna finish it today
This series is a prime example of why this is the best arpg ever created. Well done, guy.
What an amazing talent for story telling. 👌🏻
You made Act V feel so alive
Thanks mate!!
Every time I see Baal kill the barbarian messenger in the cut scene, I can't help but chuckle.
Baal has so much more character in that one scene than anything diablo had in the next game.
I've been listening to all of these Diablo series; your unique style and thorough storytelling is literally the best thing out there. I absolutely love it. Thank you bud, amazing work.
I don't know if you gonna read this, but just for know.. your videos has made my time at home a little better. Thank you very much!
Mate, means the world to me. Cheers!
You are such a good story teller. Thanks for another great video
Thanks mate, my pleasure!

recently discover this ur channel it's quite a gem in d2 lore.
Thank you!
As someone who is a relatively new diablo fan since the diablo 4 trailer dropped, this was really awesome to watch! I'll be looking forward to your narration of diablo 3!
1:18:38 ahhh you messed up by putting the 3 runes into a 4 socket shield! i love your videos though
And he still zoomed in and narrated as if it was the RW lol.
Lmfao, that ancients pledge shield sure is a good roll xD
was it ever explained why Baal has this face and spider body in LoD, whereas in the original D2 cinematic he's the twisted, decaying remains of Tal'Rasha with tentacles? I believe baal is wearing tal rasha's face stretched over his own as if it's a final insult for tal Rasha resisting him for so long
I like how whichever ancient you are closest to has the dominant voice in the dialogue.
I haven’t played the expansion for years. I need to check it out again. I love your content and I can hardly wait for D4.
Check out mod called project Diablo 2, releases in a week with already a great community, graphical enhancements and new end game, etc
This series was genuinely brilliant. Thank you for this 🤘
My pleasure!
"Hero, Malah is the only one that can help me!"
talks to everyone but malah
"maybe cain knows how to help anya"
SHE JUST TOLD YOU... omg
15:25 I was there before the patches. All of them. Paladin and Necromancer combo, endless near fps breaking swarms of skeletons with thorns. Oh the carnage.
its funny. who would of thought a paladin and necromancer would be a amazing combo.
Awaiting to see how fascinating of Act V had become in Resurrected remastered with the cutscene cinematic title change from Epilogue to Act V. Especially the Arreat Summit view on top to the ground before heading into Worldstone Keep.
More please! I love hearing your stories and your voice! Good for during bed time
Definitely up for it 😁
Ah another tale is given from smooth voice lore guy
I’ll never play Diablo the same way again after these videos
That was awesome. Diablo 2 was a great game see it from another fans perspective was amazing. Thank you for this series.
Thanks for doing this! I’ve always wanted to relive my Diablo 1 and 2 days eversince the Diablo 4 trailer came out. You’re the best!
Cows: MOooOooooooooooooo
The Paladin: "Feck"
If Dash does do the secret cow level, it will be hilarious. 😂
Fun trivia: The male staff of Blizzard North all contributed their voices to the cows.
Moo moo ma moo moo MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
not gonna lie: I stayed awhile and listened...
thank you for the amazing journey, and the spot on narrative!
Thank you, my absolute pleasure!
That ending was epic!
That ending tho.
Moomoo land with lots of cows very deadly attack in secret cow level.
Haha I thought itd be more of a silly/fun Easter egg
That cow level ending almost killed me XD XD
Bravo!
All of act 5? Hell yes.
God I feel you narrations in my bones. Wish you were my DM. Love you lore vids
act 5 was a special case of very strong villian to fight with powers to match and also was smart about how he conducted his conquering.
played d2 but never focused on story that much. ty for this... watched all videos and enjoyed them a lot. looking forward for d3 (never played it) :D

Haha thanks Marg!

''what is good for me?'' ''lost causes?'' ''okay Nihilathak you stay right there'' I replayed your reactions 100x 😂😂
When you put Ral Ort Tal into the 4 socketed shield I lost it lol
Worst
I really enjoy watching these playthroughs with your narration.
That guy at the first has balls damn!
I liked this video even though I didn’t watch it in its entirety (which, as a Paladin, was a difficult lie). Rather, I watched it piecemeal, and throughly enjoyed every segment. Appreciate all you do, Dash!
Thank you so much mate, i appreciate it!
Game LORE Dash Fun fact: my Funko Tyrael came in today. I blame you. 😄
baal's wearing that shard front and center.
Fun fact: the five heros had their group pic taken at the bonfire in front of nihlakthak’s storefront.
What the hell was that guy in the first four minutes doing trying to parley with the lord of destruction anyway
Ok I watched all of these, they were great! Thank you
My pleasure!
I love the messenger’s look at 1:56. That’s a “well... I’m fucked” look
He knew he was fucked the moment the doors locked behind him.
Badass carried on with the 'go away big demon man' speech anyways.
these are fun, to this day i have never listed to the quests lines from the townsfolk.
love ya brother, keep making diablo videos, you're the man
Back atcha, cheers!
that was excellent , the narration was great - well done !
I'm sure at lease one demon out there is yelling, "I GOT MACED! I made it into a foot of Harogath and they maced me!"
@7:09 Michael Bell = instant gold.
Amazing storytelling, very relaxing!
I really hope you do one of these for diablo 3
In diablo 3 when you play as a barbarian you have a skill called call of the ancients , where you have the souls of these barbarians fight with you
This was extremely enjoyable. Thanks and I subscribed!
Dude, the ending, you are goat.
I hope he does Diablo3 story!
That ending was beyond epic.
“Baal, im coming for you !” - lmfao 😅🤠😂😅
Yes. Paladin for the win 🤜🤛
⚜️For the light⚜️
I LOVE these videos! D2 is my favorite game ever and I love the story and characters of the game!
Thank you mate! Love your piloting skills
Dude, your videos are AWESOME!!
Ya know, for being the Lord of Destruction Baal was a lazy bastard...
Perfect ending to a great series
Cant wait for your narrative of diablo4
baal was more terrifying to me than diablo when this came out he felt more powerful too
Really enjoyed your narration. You have a very good vocabulary. Pleasing to listen to. Ever considered voicing audio books? Cheers.
I'm really curious to know which character Dash will pick for the Diablo 3 series 🤔
Im a big fan of the Crusaders acting & story
Can someone explain why Deckard Cain has darker skin than the black Paladin? 5:03 ... & Darker than all the arabs in lvl 2... & equal color to the black sorcerer D1?... ... ... Looks like he was supposed to be black originally.
Will you be doing Diablo 3?
briliant ending
Deckard rapping omg 🤣🤣
Complete Diablo II play-through Pentalogy, it is, NOW, in ourGalaxy !!!
the rap at the end
thank you for this =) truly nostalgic

Opening cinematic is awesome. But is that guy really supposed to represent the barbarians of arreat?
The necromancer sounds like Raziel from Soul Reaver
Imagine if that barbarian envoy tanked that attack from baal in the cinematic, do you think baal would just awkwardly pack up his army after finding the barbarian terms acceptable?
Why would they extend the bridge with a hoard of demons there.... COMMON lol..
0:45
They weren't a huge fan of the emissary
Powerful epilogue! XD
It is time
You would think defeating Diablo and Mephisto would mean something to these people.
Any ideas?
I was thinking it may be Baals doing? Just spit balling. Perhaps ego. Doubt tho
I assumed Deckard likes being by the well cause his throat gets dry with all of the story telling :P
1:18:27 lmao he messed up the Ancient's Pledge rune word
Incredible series regardless! Been watching from the beginning of D1, including cut quests. Continuing on with D3. Let's see if you can save its unfortunate story writing.
lmfao when u call Eldritch - Ulricht 😅😅😅😅
13:00 i think those are not barbarian camps . war camps of the enemies
Omg. Cain rapping 😂
I literally love the languid lobbing of lore laced alliteration I listfully find littered throughout.
An alliterative amazement 😩
How funny. Tired to do my own recording and play through of D2 myself. Got a level 85 Tal Sorce and 85 WW Sin if you or anyone ever wanna play :B
I love Malah! She's a funky little broad who looks like a koala!
🤣
Your comment is the best thing I’ve read all day. I completely agree...now that I can’t unsee it! 😳 🐨
