Love your iPad mount , after camping for years all I can say is take that battery out of the inside of the cab. Roll over or accident God forbid can happen. Mount it in battery case in bed . Couldn’t tell if it’s a lithium or lead acid but if it is lead acid there are fumes.
    Just keep that in mind.
Good luck on your channel !

The mount is the best. Its at a great location. We didn't keep that battery there for long and yeah it definitely wasn't the best idea for safety.

Tent/ladder question. Would the ladder still reach the ground if the tent was mounted at cab level? I have a 6inch lift on 37s too and was curious if I have to mount the tent down lower because of that. Thanks and great build!

Do you find the truck being too “big/long” for off-roading? I’m setting up my 14 F250 CC/SB for some overland trips and glad to see others getting into the full size truck overland option. I caught a glimpse of the Marine license plate. Semper Fi!

It is pretty big to go where most off roaders go. Went down some forest road trails in Arkansas and it was pretty tight. Went down other forest roads in Missouri and the main roads are fine, but theres no way to go down any offshoots because the paths are too narrow. Ended up getting a 4runner TRD Pro for my main offroader and gonna keep the truck set up as a secondary and my trailer puller on different kinds of adventures. You can definitely offroad a big truck and there are plenty of places to go, but with something smaller like a 4runner, or jeep, or similar there are tons more places to go. Hope this helps!
